Astronaut is the eleventh studio album by the English pop rock band Duran Duran, released on 28 September 2004 by Epic Records. It was Duran Duran's first studio album since Pop Trash (2000), and the first full album since Seven and the Ragged Tiger (1983) to be recorded by the most famous five-member lineup of the band.
Eric Sheridan Prydz, also known by his many aliases including Pryda and Cirez D, is a Swedish DJ and music producer. He rose to fame with his 2004 hit single "Call on Me", and saw continued chart success with "Proper Education" in 2007, "Pjanoo" in 2008, and "Opus" in 2015. In 2016, he released his debut studio album, Opus.

"Sick and Tired" was written by Anastacia, Dallas Austin, and Glen Ballard; as a hook line, it samples vocals sung by Sohan Lal in Punjabi from the sample library "Deepest India". The sentence repeated in the sample can be translated as "I gave my heart to someone who does not care".

It was the first single since "A View to a Kill" in 1985 to feature all five of the original members of the band. The song was sent to US radio on 30 August 2004 and was issued physically over the following few months.
"Stupid Girls" is a song recorded by American singer Pink from her fourth studio album I'm Not Dead (2006). It was released in February 2006 as the first single from her third studio album on LaFace Records. The song marked Pink's return to LaFace Records under Zomba Label Group via Sony BMG, after Arista Records consolidated LaFace's operations into its own in mid-2001. "Stupid Girls" was written by Pink, Billy Mann, Niklas Olovson, and Robin Mortensen Lynch. Mann and MachoPsycho both produced the track. The song introduces a more provocative, feminist, and explicit side of Pink. Lyrically, it condemns sexism and encourages intelligence in women.

"Call on Me" is a song co-written and produced by Swedish DJ and producer Eric Prydz. The song is based on a sample of Steve Winwood's 1982 song "Valerie" from the album Talking Back to the Night. "Call on Me" received significant sales success and topped several record charts. The song is famous for its music video, which features several young women and a man performing aerobics and dancing in a sexually suggestive manner.

The song was released as the lead single from Big Bam Boom on Thursday, October 4, 1984, by RCA Records. This song was their last Billboard Hot 100 number-one single, topping the chart for two weeks in December 1984. It also became the duo's fourteenth consecutive top 40 hit since 1980.
"If Tomorrow Never Comes" is a song by American country music artist Garth Brooks. Written by Brooks and Kent Blazy, it was released in August 1989 as the second single from his self-titled debut album. The track was his first number-one single on the US Billboard Hot Country Singles chart, and Brooks refers to it as his signature song. "If Tomorrow Never Comes" was named Favorite Country Single in the American Music Awards of 1991.
"Proper Education" is a remix of the 1979 song "Another Brick in the Wall, Part II" by Pink Floyd by the Swedish DJ and electronic music producer Eric Prydz. It was released in Sweden on 24 November 2006 and in the United Kingdom on 1 January 2007. "Proper Education" reached number two on the UK Singles Chart and topped the US Billboard Hot Dance Airplay chart in 2007. On 8 December 2007, the song received a nomination for Best Remixed Recording at the 2008 Grammy Awards.
"Falling Down" is a song by the English pop rock band Duran Duran from their 2007 album Red Carpet Massacre, which was sent to radio and made available to download from iTunes USA on 25 September 2007. It was recorded in two sessions in Blueprint Studios, Manchester and Sarm Studios, London. It is the only song on the album produced solely by Justin Timberlake and the band. All other songs are produced by Danja and Timbaland.

"Pjanoo" is a keyboard-based house track by the Swedish DJ and producer Eric Prydz. "Pjanoo" peaked at number six on the Swedish Singles Chart. Outside Sweden, "Pjanoo" peaked within the top ten of the charts in various other European countries, most notably the United Kingdom, where it peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart behind Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl", topped the UK Dance Chart for ten non-consecutive weeks and received moderate airplay amongst British radio stations, being heavily used by BBC Radio 1 in advertisements for their "Radio 1 Big Weekend" and "Weekend in Ibiza" events.
"Gasolina" is a song on Puerto Rican rapper Daddy Yankee's 2004 album Barrio Fino. Glory sings the line "dame más gasolina", although she is not credited. The song was released as the album's lead single in October 2004 and became a hit in 2005, peaking inside the top 10 on some of the charts it entered. "Gasolina" was the first reggaeton song to be nominated for the Latin Grammy Award for Record of the Year.
