When We Were Lions is the debut EP by Charlie Simpson, confirmed to be followed by his first solo full-length debut album in 2011. In the live shows promoting Young Pilgrim he played 2 songs live from the EP which were 'If I Hide Will You Come Looking? ' and 'Farmer & His Gun' which is also a bonus track and is a live bonus track on the iTunes bonus tracks. [7] During his 'Young Pilgrim World Tour' he plays "When We Were Lions" and "Farmer & His Gun" as the encore. Charlie announced in January that he is releasing a video for the track 'Bullet' from the EP despite being released 3 years prior, the single is just a one off.

Busted (band) English pop band

Busted are an English pop punk band from Southend-on-Sea, Essex, consisting of James Bourne, Matt Willis and Charlie Simpson. Formed in 2000, the band had four UK number-one singles, won two Brit awards, released four studio albums and sold over 5 million records. The band released Busted in 2002 and A Present for Everyone in 2003 before disbanding in January 2005. Following the split, all three members pursued separate musical careers: Simpson as the frontman for the post-hardcore band Fightstar, Bourne as the lead singer of pop punk band Son of Dork and Willis as a solo artist. The band reunited in 2016 and have stayed together since.

Pedro the Lion

Lo-Pro is an American rock band formed in 2002 by Pete Murray and Neil Godfrey after the disbandment of their previous band, Ultraspank, in 2001. After attracting the attention of Aaron Lewis of Staind, the band signed to a major record label, Geffen Records, and released their debut album, Lo-Pro in 2003. After a year of touring in support of the album, they would be dropped from their label. The band stayed together, but it would be almost six years until any further music releases, with the band opting to record and re-record several album's worth of material, participate in side-projects, and perform live shows prior to finalizing new material for release.

Charlie Simpson English singer, songwriter and musician

Charles Robert Simpson is an English singer, songwriter and musician. He is the youngest member of multi-BRIT Award-winning band Busted and he is also the lead vocalist and the rhythm guitarist in the British post-hardcore band Fightstar. AllMusic has noted that Simpson is "perhaps the only pop star to make the convincing transition from fresh-faced boy bander to authentic hard rock frontman". Simpson is a multi-instrumentalist, playing guitar, keyboard, piano and drums.

Fightstar British rock band

Fightstar are a British rock band from London that formed in 2003. The band is composed of lead vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist Charlie Simpson, guitarist and co-vocalist Alex Westaway, bassist Dan Haigh and drummer Omar Abidi. Generally considered a post-hardcore band, Fightstar are known to incorporate metal, alternative rock and other genres into their sound. During the band's early days, they were viewed sceptically by critics because of Simpson's former pop career with Busted. Their live shows got a more positive reaction, and their 2005 debut EP, They Liked You Better When You Were Dead, was a critical success.

Alter Bridge American rock band

Alter Bridge is an American rock band from Orlando, Florida. The band was formed in 2004 by vocalist/rhythm guitarist Myles Kennedy, lead guitarist Mark Tremonti, bassist Brian Marshall and drummer Scott Phillips. After their former band Creed became inactive in 2003, Tremonti and Phillips formed a new band with former bandmate Marshall and new member Kennedy; Alter Bridge was formally unveiled in January 2004, months before Creed's official breakup in June.

Colin Meloy American musician

Colin Patrick Henry Meloy is an American musician, singer-songwriter and author best known as the frontman of the Portland, Oregon, indie folk rock band The Decemberists. In addition to vocals, he performs with an acoustic guitar, 12-string acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bouzouki, harmonica and percussion instruments.

Anders Björler

Anders Björler is a musician and a songwriter from Sweden. He is best known as the former guitar player in The Haunted, At The Gates. Anders also has a twin brother; Jonas Björler, whom he has played with in both At The Gates and The Haunted. Anders also released an instrumental solo album in November 2013 entitled 'Antikythera', which was inspired by progressive rock, post-rock, jazz and Italian film soundtracks. In addition to his music career, Anders also directed, edited and produced music videos, documentaries and in-the-studio features for bands like At The Gates, The Haunted, In Flames, Dark Tranquillity & Meshuggah.

Chad Bromley, better known by his stage name Apathy, is a rapper and producer from Willimantic, Connecticut.

Harem Scarem is a Canadian hard rock/melodic hard rock band from Toronto, Ontario. Harem Scarem initially achieved popularity in their native Canada and Japan. The band was active from 1987 to 2008, and again from 2013 after reforming. One Day Son, This Will All Be Yours is the second studio album by British post-hardcore band Fightstar, released on 24 September 2007 through Institute Recordings, itself a subsidiary of independent label Gut Records. Recorded in Los Angeles and produced by Matt Wallace, the album debuted at number twenty seven on the UK Albums Chart and was preceded by the free downloadable single, "99" and first official single, "We Apologise for Nothing". As with the bands debut album, Daniel Conway digitally painted the albums artwork.

The Beautiful Sounds of Revenge is the second full-album by Lo-Pro, originally scheduled to be released was May 25, 2010, but was delayed to June 8, 2010, in order to add more songs to it. It is their third formal release of music, after their self-titled release in 2003 and the Letting Go EP in 2009. The album is described by leader singer and songwriter Pete Murray as "a diary of the Lo-Pro experience" over the course of the seven years it took to make the album. The album's only single was "Alive".

Young Guns (band)

Young Guns are an English alternative rock band from High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. The members, working with each other in various musical interests throughout the 2000s, formally formed the band in 2008, and rose to prominence after their debut EP, Mirrors, earned them spots opening live shows for Bon Jovi and Guns N' Roses. Their debut album, All Our Kings Are Dead, on 12 July 2010. Their second album, Bones, was released in February 2012. Their single "Bones" reached no. 1 on the Billboard Active Rock charts in the US in May 2013. Their third album, Ones and Zeros, was released on 9 June 2015. The band's fourth album, Echoes, was released on September 16, 2016.

Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray is the fifth studio album by South African rock band Seether. It was the first and only Seether album to have Troy McLawhorn as the lead guitarist. However, he departed from the band just before the album's release, to once again become the rhythm guitarist for the band Evanescence. It was released on 17 May 2011, and debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200.

Spector (band)

Spector is a British four piece indie rock band from London, composed of Frederick Macpherson, Thomas Shickle (bass), Jed Cullen and Danny Blandy. The band's debut album Enjoy It While It Lasts reached number 12 in the UK Albums Chart and went to number one on the Official Record Store Chart on the week of its release.
