Elihu Emory Jackson, a member of the United States Democratic Party, was the 41st Governor of Maryland in the United States from 1888 to 1892. He was born in 1837 in Delmar, Maryland and died in 1907 in the City of Baltimore, Maryland. He is buried at the Parsons Cemetery in Salisbury, Maryland, the county seat of Wicomico County. He was part owner of Pemberton Hall, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.

The Lawyers Hill Historic District is a national historic district located at Elkridge, Howard County, Maryland. The district encompasses a broad array of architectural styles ranging from 1738 Georgian Colonial to 1941 Georgian Revival. The collection of Victorian domestic architecture built during the 1840s to 1880s is unparalleled in the county, with no two houses the same. Some of the later cottages were designed by Philadelphia architect Brognard Okie. There are variations of the American Gothic Revival form, Italianate, Queen Anne, and Shingle-style structures. There is also a range of Colonial Revival houses, from craftsman era rustic cottages to more formal Georgian, and mass-produced Dutch Colonial models from the early 20th century.

Spring Hill Church, also known as Old Spring Hill and St. Paul's Episcopal Church, was a historic Episcopal church located at Hebron, Wicomico County, Maryland. It was located eight miles north on the Wicomico River from Green Hill Church, which it strongly resembled. The white frame structure, two bays wide and four deep and set on a Flemish bond brick foundation, was constructed as St. Paul's Episcopal Church in 1773. The interior featured a barrel-vault ceiling. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
Beaudley is a historic home located at Tyaskin, Wicomico County, Maryland, United States. It was built about 1795, and consists of a 1+1⁄2-story, side-hall, Flemish bond brick-ended frame house with a gable roof. A single-story hyphen joins a slightly taller single-story early-19th-century kitchen to the main house. Attached to the house is a two-story, one-room frame addition erected around 1850. Also on the property are several small outbuildings and a Walter family cemetery.
Bennett's Adventure is a historic home located three miles west of Allen, on the north bank of Wicomico Creek in Wicomico County, Maryland, United States. It is a 1+1⁄2-story gambrel-roofed brick house, laid in English bond. It has a traditional two-room plan with central hall. It still has original paneling in the west room and central hall. There were later twentieth-century additions to the house, of a 1+1⁄2-story wing and connecting hyphen. The creek side has a long screened porch.
Honeysuckle Lodge is a historic home located at Salisbury, Wicomico County, Maryland, United States. It is a 1+1⁄2-story eclectic frame dwelling built in stages during the first half of the 20th century. The home has a Colonial Revival style. Also on the property is a 1-story, frame guest house built around 1940. The asbestos-shingled frame structure is supported by a continuous brick foundation, and the medium-sloped gable roof is covered with asphalt shingles. The yard is planted with mature trees and shrubs.
Long Hill is a historic home overlooking Wetipquin Creek in Wetipquin, Wicomico County, Maryland, United States. It was built about 1767 and is a five bay wide wood panelled and brick house set on a brick foundation laid in Flemish bond. It is an essentially untouched Maryland dwelling, dating from the second half of the 18th century. The house is associated with the Dashiell family, several of whom took an active part in the affairs of the colony.
The Yellow Brick House, or Moorfield, is a historic home located at Bivalve, Wicomico County, Maryland, United States. It is a Federal-style two story brick dwelling built about 1810. The house is one of the largest Federal-style dwellings left in Wicomico County.
Western Fields is a historic home located at Hebron, Wicomico County, Maryland, United States. It is a Greek Revival-style three-part frame "telescope" dwelling started about 1790 and expanded in the mid-19th century. The main block was constructed in 1845. The property also includes an early-20th century frame tenant house and corn crib, and a small family cemetery. In 1997, the Maple Leaf Farm Potato House was moved to Western Fields. Since 1825, the property was owned by the Phillips family, prominent Wicomico County planters during the 19th and 20th centuries.

It was built in 1919, and is a two-story, rectangular frame building with a hipped roof. It is one of four surviving Rosenwald schools in Wicomico County. It remained in use as a school until 1961.
F. Leonard Wailes Law Office is a historic building located at Salisbury, Wicomico County, Maryland. It was constructed in 1927 in the Colonial Revival style. It is a two-story brick building opposite the Wicomico County Courthouse in a line of early- to mid-20th century commercial buildings.

It is a three-story, U-shaped, steeply pitches mansard-roofed Second Empire-style frame structure. The center core of the hotel is a Federal side hall / parlor dwelling, erected around 1810–1815. The hotel interior retains much of its early and later 19th century woodwork.

Denton Historic District is a national historic district in Denton, Caroline County, Maryland, United States. It is located on the flat land along the south bank of the Choptank River. The west end of the district focuses on the courthouse square, which was laid out in the 1790s, with its late 19th century courthouse building and square faced on all sides by noteworthy residences and commercial structures. The historic commercial district extends east of the square along Market Street. It comprises a notable collection of two-story brick storefronts and one-story concrete block commercial structures, with frame residences representing late-19th / early-20th century forms interspersed among them.
