The Bangladesh national football team is the national recognised football team of Bangladesh and is controlled by the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF). It is a member of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) since 1973 and of FIFA since 1974, even though the Bangladesh Football Federation was first founded in 1972. Bangladesh was elected as a member of the AFC Executive Committee in 1982–1986 and 1998–2002. The current Executive Committee was elected democratically, under an AFC approved constitution and direct supervision of FIFA & AFC, in October 2020.
Bangladesh Television, commonly known by its acronym BTV, is the state-owned television network of Bangladesh. The network was originally established as the East Pakistan branch of PTV in 1964. It is the oldest Bengali-language television network in the world, and is the sister to the radio broadcaster Bangladesh Betar, which, along with BTV, are both owned and operated by the government.

Riaz Uddin Ahamed Siddique, commonly known as Riaz, is a prominent Bangladeshi film actor, producer, model, and television presenter. He has acted in more than 100 Bengali films and is the recipient of several awards, including three National Film Awards and seven Meril Prothom Alo Awards. He made his debut as an actor with the social action drama, Banglar Nayok (1995), followed by Praner Cheye Priyo (1997), where he gained popularity by playing the lead role. Riaz worked alongside Bollywood actress, Sushmita Sen, in the film, It Was Raining That Night. Riaz is critically acclaimed for working with renowned filmmakers in Bangladesh, and has acted in a number of commercially successful films. Some of his notable works include Dui Duari (2000), Premier Taj Mahal (2002), Bhalobasa Kare Koy (2002), Moner Majhe Tumi (2003), Hajar Bachhor Dhore: Symphony of Agony (2005), Shasti (2004), Hridoyer Kotha (2006), Daruchini Dip (2007), Khelaghor: Dollhouse (2006), Ki Jadu Korila (2008) and Akash Chhoa Bhalobasa (2008). Riza was last seen in Lobhey Pap Papey Mrityu (2014) and Krishnopaksho (2015). He currently has no upcoming films.

Bangladesh Television Chattogram or Bangladesh Television Chittagong, branded on-air as BTV Chittagong or BTV Chattogram, sometimes known as CTV, is a BTV-affiliated television station broadcast from Chittagong, serving southeastern Bangladesh. It is the network's first and currently the only regional television station. It was launched in 1996 and initially broadcast for one and a half hour, but the broadcast schedule significantly increased over time. It broadcasts on a full-day basis daily on both terrestrial and satellite television. BTV Chittagong started broadcasting on satellite television in 2016. It is also a nationwide terrestrial television station along with BTV Dhaka and Sangsad Television, as it reaches 75% of the area of Bangladesh terrestrially.
