Established in 1869, it experienced its greatest growth from the early 1880s through the 1920s. The Springfield Historic District is listed in the National Register of Historic Places, and contains some of the city's best examples of 19th and early 20th century architecture.
The Margaret Mitchell House is a historic house museum located in Atlanta, Georgia. The structure was the home of author Margaret Mitchell in the early 20th century. It is located in Midtown, at 979 Crescent Avenue. Constructed by Cornelius J. Sheehan as a single-family residence in a then-fashionable section of residential Peachtree Street, the building's original address was 806 Peachtree Street. The house was known as the Crescent Apartments when Mitchell and her husband lived in Apt. 1 on the ground floor from 1925 to 1932. While living there, Mitchell wrote the bulk of her Pulitzer Prize-winning 1936 novel, Gone with the Wind.

The Jefferson–Chalmers Historic Business District is a neighborhood located on East Jefferson Avenue between Eastlawn Street and Alter Road in Detroit, Michigan. The district is the only continuously intact commercial district remaining along East Jefferson Avenue, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.
2-10 Horatio Street is a 17-story co-operative apartment building located between Greenwich and Eighth Avenues, on the corner of Greenwich Avenue, across from Jackson Square Park in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City, United States. Built in 1929–31 and designed by Robert T. Lyons, the building is located within the Greenwich Village Historic District, but is not an individual landmark. The building also has the address 123-129 Greenwich Avenue.
The W. W. Shirk Building, also known as the Canopic Apartments, is located at 219 E. Jackson St. in Muncie, Indiana. The original building was designed for a combination of commercial and residential space. After a 21st-century remodeling led by Flaherty and Collins, the building became solely residential.
O Street Market, also known as Northern Market, is a historic structure located at 1400 7th Street NW in the Shaw neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Built in 1881, it is one of three 19th-century public market buildings still standing in the city, along with Eastern Market and Georgetown Market. The market was listed on the District of Columbia Inventory of Historic Sites in 1968 and the National Register of Historic Places in 1995. The most distinctive architectural element of the Gothic Revival building is its corner tower on 7th and O Streets.
Justave Mandor Matson was an architect in Racine, Wisconsin. He designed the United Laymen Bible Student Tabernacle in Racine County, Wisconsin and Wilmanor Apartments in Racine County. Matson assisted Pennsylvania firm Richter & Eiler in the design of the Holy Communion Lutheran Church (1928) at 2000 W. Sixth. He also designed Racine City Hall, Horlick High School and Park High School, as well as Mitchell Elementary and middle school. Frank Lloyd Wright replaced Madson in 1935 as the architect for S.C. Johnson's administration building. Matson is also credited with designing the Granada Theatre at 1924 Charles Street in Racine. Matson is also credited with designing St. Edwards Church in Racine and Roosevelt School in Racine.
First Ward Park is a 4.6 acre urban park in the First Ward neighborhood of Uptown Charlotte. After a national competition to attract architects, the firm Shadley Associates was selected to build the park. The park incorporates the existing Dixie's Tavern and UNCC buildings, and new construction will include an office tower, hotel, and parking deck on adjacent land.

333 North Water is a high-rise apartment building in the Third Ward neighborhood of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The 342-foot, 31-story high-rise will become the state of Wisconsin's sixth tallest residential building when it is completed, and will feature 295 high-end apartments, 10,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space, and an adjoining 7-story parking structure with hundreds of parking spaces.
