The Winnipeg School Division is a school division in Winnipeg, Manitoba. [2] [3] With 78 schools, it is the largest of six public school divisions in Winnipeg, as well as the largest and oldest school division in Manitoba. [3] [4] [5] [6]

Greenway | Built at a cost of $88,000 in 1910 at 850 St. Matthews Avenue. This School was the first of three schools with this name, and at the time was the largest in Winnipeg, built to hold 1000 students. In 1919, a second one-storey "bungalow style" building with eight more classrooms was erected nearby. Those two buildings remained until 1997 when they were demolished. Policies regarding the provision of educational services in WSD are the responsibility of the Board of Trustees of the Winnipeg School Division. The Winnipeg School Division comprises nine wards, each having one elected trustee, who are elected for a four-year term. [10]

Ronald Reinhold Schuler is a Canadian politician. He is currently a member of the Manitoba Legislature and a representative of the Progressive Conservative Party (PCs). He was first elected in the 1999 provincial election. and was re-elected in the 2003, 2007, 2011, 2016, 2019 and 2023 elections.
Charleswood is a residential community and neighbourhood in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It is located in the southwest of the city and is bordered by the neighbourhoods of Tuxedo to the east, Whyte Ridge to the south, and the Rural Municipality of Headingley on the west. He has been the principal of St. Andrew's College at the University of Manitoba, and was a trustee with the Winnipeg School Board from 1989 to 1995 and again from 1998 to 2006. He has also run for the House of Commons of Canada on two occasions, as a candidate of the New Democratic Party. Yereniuk is a prominent member of Winnipeg's Ukrainian-Canadian community.
