The 84th Assembly District of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. [1] Located in southeast Wisconsin, the district comprises part of southeast Waukesha County and northwest Racine County. It includes the villages of Big Bend, Mukwonago, Vernon, and Waterford, and most of the city of Muskego. [2] The district is represented by Republican Bob Donovan, since January 2023. [3]

The 84th Assembly District is located within Wisconsin's 28th Senate district, along with the 82nd and 83rd Assembly districts. [4]

Located in central Wisconsin, the district comprises nearly all of Waushara County and most of the southern half of Waupaca County, along with parts of western Winnebago County, southwest Outagamie County, southeast Portage County, and eastern Adams County. It includes the cities of Manawa, Wautoma, Waupaca, and Weyauwega, and the villages of Almond, Coloma, Fremont, Hancock, Lohrville, Ogdensburg, Plainfield, Redgranite, and Wild Rose. The district also contains Hartman Creek State Park and historic sites such as Waupaca's Main Street Historic District and the King Wisconsin Veterans Home, established for veterans of the American Civil War, containing the Veterans Cottages Historic District, the Commandant's Residence Home, and the Veterans Home Chapel. The district is represented by Democrat Lee Snodgrass, since January 2021.

It includes the cities of Abbotsford, Colby, Greenwood, Loyal, Medford, Neillsville, Owen, Thorp, and Stanley, and the villages of Athens, Boyd, Curtiss, Dorchester, Granton, Stetsonville, Unity, and Withee. Located in southeast Wisconsin, the district is entirely contained within central Waukesha County, including most of the city of Waukesha and part of the village of Waukesha. The district is represented by Republican Chuck Wichgers, since January 2014. After the 2024 redistricting, Skowronski no longer resides in the new 82nd district.

It includes the western half of the city of Eau Claire, along with the city of Osseo and the villages of Eleva and Strum. It contains landmarks such as the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire campus, the Eau Claire campus of Chippewa Valley Technical College, Carson Park, and Water Street Historic District. The district is represented by Republican Warren Petryk, since January 2011.
