The Football Association of Indonesia is the governing body of football in Indonesia. It was founded on 19 April 1930. The PSSI joined FIFA in 1952 and the Asian Football Confederation in 1954.
Persatuan Sepakbola Indonesia Bandung, commonly referred to as Persib Bandung or simply Persib, is an Indonesian professional football club based in Bandung, West Java. United, Thohir is currently co-owner alongside Anindya Bakrie of English League One team Oxford United and Liga 1 team Persis Solo along with Kaesang Pangarep, the youngest son of President Joko Widodo. He was also the president director of ANTV television station and the chief of the Indonesian Olympic Committee. In 2019, he became a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Thohir is also currently a member of the FIBA Central Board.

The 2021–22 Pertiwi Cup is the seventh edition of Pertiwi Cup. The tournament started on 18 March 2022 and ended on 28 March 2022. All matches were played in Bandung, West Java. The tournament was organized by Indonesian Women's Football Association under supervision of PSSI.
The Indonesia Futsal Federation is the governing body of futsal in Indonesia and a member association of Indonesia's football governing body, PSSI. It was founded on 22 June 2014. FFI regulates the activities of the Indonesian men's and women's national futsal teams. It also runs the Indonesian Professional Futsal League competition for both men and women.
