The Football Association of Indonesia is the governing body of football in Indonesia. It was founded on 19 April 1930. PSSI joined the Asian Football Confederation in 1954 and FIFA in 1952.
The Indonesian national futsal team represents Indonesia in international futsal competitions. Indonesia has played fourteen times at the AFF Futsal Championship and nine times at the AFC Futsal Asian Cup. The team never participates in any World Cup but has won the AFF Futsal Championship only once in 2010. He was also the president director of ANTV television station and the chief of the Indonesian Olympic Committee. In 2019, he became a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

The 2021–22 Pertiwi Cup is the seventh edition of Pertiwi Cup. The tournament started on 18 March 2022 and ended on 28 March 2022. All matches were played in Bandung, West Java. The tournament was organized by Indonesian Women's Football Association under supervision of PSSI.

FFI regulates the activities of the Indonesian men's and women's national futsal teams. It also runs the Indonesian Professional Futsal League competition for both men and women.
