The Women's Hockey Junior Africa Cup, formerly known as the Junior Africa Cup of Nations, is a women's international under-21 field hockey tournament organised by the African Hockey Federation. The tournament has been held since 1988 and serves as a qualification tournament for the Men's FIH Hockey Junior World Cup. [1] Competitors must be under the age of 21 as of December 31 in the year before the tournament is held.

The Fédération Internationale de Hockey, commonly known by the acronym FIH, is the international governing body of field hockey and indoor field hockey. Its headquarters are in Lausanne, Switzerland. FIH is responsible for field hockey's major international tournaments, notably the Hockey World Cup.
The Canadian men's national field hockey team represents Canada in international men's field hockey since 1964, when it played in the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
