World War Z is a first-person shooter zombie apocalypse mobile game it was developed by Phosphor Games and published by Paramount Digital Entertainment. The game was released on May 30, 2013, prior to release of the feature movie of the same name, which was directed by Marc Forster and starred Brad Pitt. [2]

Gameplay

A first-person shooter game available on iOS and Android, World War Z features 28 missions with zombies combat, puzzle-solving, weapons and armor. [3] The story runs loose to the movie; however, it features new set of characters. The Player assume the role as Doug, a survivor of the zombie apocalypse. Doug must travels the world trying to find his son, Rob who is located in Japan. [4]

Reception

Droid Life called the game "visually impressive." [6] Game Revolution called it an "engaging movie tie-in." [7] Kotaku referred to the game as better than expected. [8] Game Trailers said the game's controls may "change the first-person genre on mobile." [9] Modojo said the game's control scheme "removes the hassle" of playing first person shooter games on touchscreens. [10]

Call of Duty: World at War – Zombies was a first-person shooter video game developed by Ideaworks Game Studio, and published by Activision for iOS. It was a spin-off of the Call of Duty series, and based on the Zombies mode of Call of Duty: World at War. The game was released worldwide for iPhone on November 16, 2009, and for iPad on April 1, 2010. The game allowed for multiplayer cooperative gameplay locally via an ad hoc Wi-Fi or Bluetooth network, or globally via the internet. It also came with the three other maps, Verrückt, Shi No Numa, and Der Riese. A sequel to the game, Call of Duty: Black Ops – Zombies, has been published by Activision.

Starting with Biohazard i Survivor in 2001, several mobile games based on the Resident Evil survival horror franchise have been released. The games feature different genres and settings, and were developed by the Japanese and Canadian branches of Capcom.

It was released for Android and iOS devices on October 23, 2013, and for Facebook on February 20, 2014. As with the original Dead Trigger, Dead Trigger 2 is a single-player zombie-themed shooter.
