X Faktors is the Latvian version of The X Factor , a series originating from the United Kingdom. Based on the original British show, the concept of the Latvian version, as is common with international installments, is to find new singing talent (solo or groups) contested by aspiring singers drawn from public auditions. The Latvian version first aired on 3 September 2017.

Both Roberts Memmēns and Dagnis Roziņš are current members of the pop-rap group Citi Zēni, who gained popularity as the Latvian entry for 2022 Eurovision Song Contest with the song, Eat Your Salad.
The X Factor is a British television music competition to find new singing talent; the winner of which receives a £1 million recording contract with the Syco Music record label. The first series was broadcast from 4 September to 11 December 2004. The competition was split into several stages: auditions, bootcamp, judges' homes and live shows, with Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne and Simon Cowell as judges. Kate Thornton presented the show on ITV, whilst Ben Shephard presented the spin-off show The Xtra Factor on ITV2.
Sekret Uspekha was a Russian popular music talent show, broadcast on Saturdays on RTR. However, with the continuing success of the rival pan-Arab series Star Academy on Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation (LBC), XSeer All Najah lost most of its pan-Arab appeal and was discontinued after season 2. In 2023, season 5 was released.

The first season premiered on 7 October 2018 and has since been broadcast on Television Malta. The show was used to determine the artist that would represent Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2019 and 2020. In July 2020, it was announced that the show would be replaced by Malta's Got Talent, but after a one-year hiatus, a third season began in October 2021. Season four started on 08 October 2023.
