The Xiaoli Feidao series is a series of five wuxia novels by Gu Long. First published between 1968 and 1981,the five novels have since been adapted into seven films and 18 television series as of 2020 [update] .
The Little Li Flying Dagger (小李飛刀;xiáolǐfēidāo) is the weapon of Li Xunhuan,Ye Kai,Ding Lingzhong and Li Huai.
The blade of the dagger is three cun and seven fen long (13.7cm). It is forged from ordinary steel and iron,unlike other fictional weapons forged from special materials. It ranks third in the Book of Weapons (兵器譜).

Gu Long, was a Hong Kong-born Taiwanese novelist, screenwriter, film producer and director. A graduate of Cheng Kung Senior High School and Tamkang University, Xiong is best known for writing wuxia novels and serials, which include Juedai Shuangjiao, Xiaoli Feidao Series, Chu Liuxiang Series, Lu Xiaofeng Series and The Eleventh Son. Some of these works have been adapted into films and television series for numerous times. In the 1980s, he started his own film studio, Bao Sian (寶龍), to produce film adaptations of his works.
Flying Daggers is a 2003 Taiwanese-Chinese television series adapted from Gu Long's novel Feidao Youjian Feidao of the Xiaoli Feidao Series. The series is produced by Young Pei-pei and starred Julian Cheung, Ruby Lin and Dong Jie.

Seven Swordsmen is a 2006 Chinese television series directed by Clarence Fok and produced by Tsui Hark. The series is loosely adapted from Liang Yusheng's wuxia novels Qijian Xia Tianshan and Saiwai Qixia Zhuan. It is also the television series counterpart to the 2005 film Seven Swords, which was also directed and produced by Tsui Hark. This series was originally planned to be the first season of a longer television series but the project seems to have been abandoned.

Chu Liuxiang is the fictional protagonist of the wuxia novel series Chu Liuxiang Series by Taiwanese writer Gu Long. His given name "Liuxiang" literally means "lingering fragrance". Nicknamed "Daoshuai" or "Xiangshuai", he steals from the rich to help the poor and upholds justice in the jianghu. He has been portrayed in numerous films and television series adapted from the novel series by notable actors such as Ti Lung, Adam Cheng, Michael Miu, Richie Ren, Ken Chu and Ken Chang.

Chor Lau-heung is a Taiwanese television series adapted from Chu Liuxiang Xinzhuan of Gu Long's Chu Liuxiang novel series. Adam Cheng starred as the titular protagonist, Chor Lau-heung. The series was divided into four parts, each lasting 4 to 6 episodes and with a different director. It was first broadcast on CTV in Taiwan in 1985. The series is an unofficial sequel to the 1979 Hong Kong TVB TV series of the same title, with the story continuing from where the 1979 series left off. The character Su Rongrong does not appear in this series because the character died at the end of the 1979 series.

Amazing Detective Di Renjie 2, also known as Shen Tan Di Renjie 2, is the second installment in a four-season Chinese television series based on gong'an detective stories related to Di Renjie, a Tang dynasty magistrate and statesman. Written and directed by Qian Yanqiu, the series starred Liang Guanhua as the titular protagonist, and was first broadcast on CCTV-8 on 20 November 2006, two years after the first season.
