The 1920 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the VII Olympiad and commonly known as Antwerp 1920, were an international multi-sport event held in 1920 in Antwerp, Belgium.
Yermakhan Ibraimov is a Kazakh boxer who competed in the Light Middleweight (71 kg) at the 2000 Summer Olympics and won the gold medal. Yánes also competed at the 1999 Pan American Games in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, where he lost in the quarterfinals to Cuba's eventual gold medalist Jorge Gutiérrez.
Kerstin Kowalski is a German rower. At the 2000 Olympics she rowed with her twin sister Manja. Kowalski was married to fellow rower Iradj El Qalqili, who had proposed to her at the finish line at the 2000 Olympics.
Yane Márcia Campos da Fonseca Marques is a modern pentathlon athlete from Brazil. She became nationally known despite the obscurity of her sport in the country after winning a bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics, the first Latin American to medal and the only woman to do so.
