Yang Jiaxing (born 15 August 1998) is a Chinese artistic gymnast. He is a 2022 World and 2022 and 2019 Asian champion with the Chinese team. Individually, he is the 2019 Asian champion on the floor exercise. He is also the 2022 Asian Championships all-around and floor exercise bronze medalist.
At the 2018 Chinese Championships, Yang won a silver medal with the Hunan province team and also placed fifth in the all-around. [1]
Yang won a gold medal with the Army team at the 2019 Chinese Championships. [2] Then at the 2019 Asian Championships in Ulaanbaatar, he won a team gold medal alongside Liu Rongbing, Lan Xingyu, Huang Mingqi, and Hu Xuwei. Individually, he won the gold medal on the floor exercise with a score of 14.533. [3]
Yang won a silver medal with the Hunan province team at the 2021 Chinese Championships and placed ninth in the all-around. [4] He was not selected for the 2020 Olympics training squad. [5]
At the 2022 Asian Championships in Doha, Yang won a team gold medal alongside Shi Cong, Yin Dehang, Lin Chaopan, and Lan Xingyu. Individually, he won the all-around bronze medal with a total score of 83.733 behind teammate Shi and Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo. [6] In the event finals, he won another bronze medal on the floor exercise behind Yulo and Kim Han-sol. [7] He also placed fifth in the rings final and sixth in the horizontal bar final. Then at the 2022 Chinese Championships, Yang won a silver medal with the Hunan province team. He also won his first national individual medal by winning bronze in the all-around behind Zhang Boheng and Sun Wei. [8]
Yang was selected to compete at the 2022 World Championships in Liverpool alongside Sun Wei, You Hao, Zhang Boheng, and Zou Jingyuan. The team won the gold medal and qualified China a team spot for the 2024 Olympic Games. [9]
Shang Chunsong is a senior elite Chinese artistic gymnast. She represented China at the 2013, 2014, and 2015 World Championships and was a member of the Chinese silver-medal-winning teams at the latter two events. Shang was the captain of the bronze-medal-winning team at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she placed 4th in the individual all-around competition. Domestically, she is the 2015 and 2016 Chinese national all-around champion.
Miyakawa Sae is a Japanese artistic gymnast. She represented Japan at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics and won a bronze medal on the vault. She also competed at the 2015 World Championships where she finished fourth on the floor exercise and at the 2017 World Championships where she finished eighth on the vault. She was a member of the team that won a gold medal at the 2015 Asian Championships, and individually, she won the silver medal on the vault and the bronze medal on the floor exercise. She also represented Japan at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Tisha Manouk Gijs Volleman is a Dutch artistic gymnast and a member of the national team. She won a bronze medal with the Dutch team at the 2018 European Championships. She represented the Netherlands at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Rifda Irfanaluthfi is an Indonesian artistic gymnast. She is the 2018 Asian Games floor exercise silver medalist and a four-time SEA Games champion. She is also a three-time medalist on the FIG World Cup series. She represented Indonesia at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Xiao Ruoteng is a Chinese artistic gymnast. He competed at the 2020 and 2024 Olympic Games, winning five medals. He is the 2017 World all-around champion and the 2018 World pommel horse champion. As a member of the Chinese team, he is a 2018 World champion and a two-time Asian Games champion. He is also the 2017 Asian all-around and pommel horse champion.
Zhang Jin is a Chinese artistic gymnast. She is a 2018 World bronze medalist and 2018 Asian Games champion in the team event. She is also the 2018 Asian Games bronze medalist on the balance beam and the 2018 Stuttgart World Cup all-around champion. She represented China at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
Wataru Tanigawa is a Japanese artistic gymnast. He won a gold medal with the Japanese team at the 2024 Summer Olympics and a silver medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics. At the 2022 World Championships, he won a silver medal in the team event and a bronze medal in the all-around. He also won team bronze medals at the 2018 and 2019 World Championships. He is also the 2022 Asian Games vault champion and a two-time World University Games champion.
Shinnosuke Oka is a Japanese artistic gymnast. He is the 2024 Olympic all-around champion, as well as a member of the Japanese team, which also won gold at 2024 games. He also won the Olympic title on the horizontal bar and the bronze medal on the parallel bars.
Ryu Sung-hyun is a South Korean artistic gymnast. He is the 2019 Junior World champion on the floor exercise. He represented South Korea at the 2020 and 2024 Olympic Games. He won two bronze medals at the 2021 World University Games.
Guan Chenchen is a Chinese former artistic gymnast. She is the 2020 Olympic champion and the 2020 Chinese champion on the balance beam. On the junior level, she was a member of the Chinese team who won silver at the 2019 Junior World Championships.
Lee Yun-seo is a South Korean artistic gymnast. She is the 2022 Asian uneven bars and team silver medalist and all-around, uneven bars, and floor exercise bronze medalist. She has competed at four World Championships, and she represented South Korea at the 2020 Summer Olympics, the 2024 Summer Olympics and at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics.
Lu Yufei is a Chinese artistic gymnast. She is the 2021 Chinese national all-around and floor exercise champion and balance beam silver medalist, and the 2020 Chinese national floor bronze medalist. She is the 2019 Asian Championships uneven bars champion and all-around silver medalist and a member of the gold medal-winning team. She represented China at the 2020 Summer Olympics and finished fourth in the uneven bars final.
Zhang Boheng is a Chinese artistic gymnast. He competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics and won silver medals with the Chinese team and in the individual all-around. He also won a bronze medal on the horizontal bar. He is the 2021 World all-around champion and the 2022 World all-around silver medalist. He won three gold medals at the 2022 Asian Games and two gold medals at the 2021 World University Games.
Shin Sol-yi is a South Korean artistic gymnast. She is the 2021 and 2023 South Korean national all-around champion. She finished 11th in the all-around at the 2021 World Championships, the highest-ever placement for a South Korean female gymnast. She is the 2023 Asian all-around and floor exercise bronze medalist. On the junior level, Shin is the 2017 Asian Junior Championships vault silver medalist. She represented South Korea at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Takaaki Sugino is a Japanese artistic gymnast. He won a gold medal with the Japanese team at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Shoko Miyata is a Japanese artistic gymnast. She is the 2022 World bronze medalist on the balance beam as well as the 2022 Asian Championships silver medalist on vault and floor exercise. She was set to represent Japan at the 2024 Summer Olympics, but on 18 July 2024 it was announced that she had been removed from the team.
Qiu Qiyuan is a Chinese artistic gymnast. She is the 2023 World and 2023 Asian champion on the uneven bars as well as the 2024 Olympic silver medalist. Additionally she is the 2023 Asian all-around champion and is a two-time Chinese all-around champion.
Zhou Yaqin is a Chinese artistic gymnast. She is the 2024 Olympic and 2023 World balance beam silver medalist.
Su Weide is a Chinese artistic gymnast. He represented China at the 2024 Summer Olympics and won a silver medal in the team event. He also won a silver medal with the Chinese team at the 2023 World Championships, where he also won a bronze medal on the horizontal bar. He received a gold medal as the team alternate at the 2022 World Championships. He won a bronze medal on the floor exercise at the 2023 Asian Championships.
Amalia Alexandra Ghigoarță is a Romanian artistic gymnast. She represented Romania at the 2024 Summer Olympics. She is the 2022 Junior European Championships team and all-around silver medalist.
