Nastia Liukin 2008 Olympic gymnastics all-around champion

Anastasia Valeryevna "Nastia" Liukina is a Russian-born American former artistic gymnast. She is the 2008 Olympic All-Around champion, a five-time Olympic medalist, the 2005 and 2007 world champion on the balance beam, and the 2005 world champion on the uneven bars. She is also a four-time all-around U.S. national champion, winning twice as a junior and twice as a senior. With nine World Championships medals, seven of them individual, Liukin is tied with Shannon Miller for the third-highest tally of World Championship medals. Liukin also tied Miller's record as the American gymnast having won the most medals in a single non-boycotted Olympic Games.

The 1st Artistic Gymnastics World Championships were held in Antwerp, Belgium, in conjunction with the 27th Belgian Federal Festival, on 14-18 August 1903.

Daniele Hypólito Brazilian gymnast

Daniele Matias Hypólito is a Brazilian gymnast who competed in the 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games. Hypólito was the first athlete from Brazil to ever win a medal at the World Championships, a silver on floor exercise in 2001. She is also the nine-time senior all-around Brazilian National Champion in artistic gymnastics, 2002 South American Games all-around champion and 2003 Pan American Games all-around bronze medalist. To date Hypólito has won the Brazilian National Championships more than ten times; has represented Brazil at the World Championships thirteen times, competing in every Worlds meet from 1999 to 2015, except in 2009; has taken part in every edition of the Olympic Games from 2000 to 2016; and has competed at five Pan American Games between 1999 and 2015.

The Artistic Gymnastics World Championships are the world championships for artistic gymnastics governed by the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG). The first edition of the championships was held in 1903, exclusively for male gymnasts. Since the tenth edition of the tournament, in 1934, women's events are held together with men's events.

The Trampoline and Tumbling Gymnastics World Championships are the world championships for trampoline gymnastics including Double mini trampoline and Tumbling (gymnastics). They were originally held annually from 1964–1968. The frequency was switched to biennially from 1970–1998. The admission of trampolining to the Olympic Games required a switch to holding the World Championship as a qualifier in the year before the Olympics from 1999.

1905 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships

The 2nd Artistic Gymnastics World Championships were held in Bordeaux, France, in conjunction with the 31st Federal Festival of France, on April 22-23, 1905.

The 3rd Artistic Gymnastics World Championships were held in Prague, Bohemia, in conjunction with the 5th Czech Sokol Slet on 30 June 1907.

The 4th Artistic Gymnastics World Championships were held in Luxembourg, in conjunction with the 9th Federal Festival of Luxembourg, on August 1, 1909.

The 6th Artistic Gymnastics World Championships were held in Paris, France, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the "Union des Societes des Gymnastique de France", on November 16, 1913.

Kyla Ross American artistic gymnast

Kyla Briana Ross is a retired American artistic gymnast. She was an elite gymnast from 2009 to 2016 where she was a member of the U.S. Women's Gymnastics team. She was named to the 2012 Summer Olympic squad, dubbed the Fierce Five, which won the gold medal in the team competition. Ross was also a member of the gold-medal-winning U.S. team at the 2014 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. Individually, she is the 2013 world all-around, uneven bars, and balance beam silver medalist and the 2014 world all-around bronze medalist.

Jana Berezko-Marggrander German rhythmic gymnast

Jana Berezko-Marggrander is a German retired individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2010 Youth Olympic all-around bronze medalist.

The Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup is a competition for rhythmic gymnastics sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG). It is one of the few tournaments in rhythmic gymnastics officially organized by FIG, as well as the World Championships, the gymnastics competitions at the Olympic Games and the Youth Olympics, and the rhythmic gymnastics events at the World Games. The World Cup series should not be confused with the Rhythmic Gymnastics Grand Prix series, which is neither officially organized nor promoted by FIG.

The Rhythmic Gymnastics Grand Prix is an annual competition of tournaments in rhythmic gymnastics open to athletes from all over the globe. The series consists of a number of stages, culminating in the final event, usually referred to as Grand Prix Final. The Grand Prix circuit usually hosts some of the most watched yearly events in rhythmic gymnastics, frequently gathering some of the best gymnasts in the world. The Grand Prix series should not be confused with the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup series, which is a competition officially organized by the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG), whereas the Grand Prix is neither organized nor promoted by FIG.

Dina Averina Russian rhythmic gymnast

Dina Alekseyevna Averina is a Russian individual rhythmic gymnast. She is a three-time World All-around Champion, the 2018 silver and 2021 European All-around bronze medalist and the 2016 Grand Prix Final All-around silver medalist. On the National level, she is the 2017 and 2018 Russian National All-around champion and the 2013 Russian Junior All-around bronze medalist. Her identical twin sister, Arina Averina, is also a competitive rhythmic gymnast and the 2018 and 2021 European champion.

Nikita Nagornyy Russian artistic gymnast

Nikita Vladimirovich Nagornyy is a Russian artistic gymnast and two-time Olympian, representing Russia in 2016 and ROC in 2020. He was part of the teams who won gold at the 2020 Olympic Games and 2019 World Championships and silver at the 2016 Olympic Games and 2018 World Championships.

Linoy Ashram Israeli rhythmic gymnast

Linoy Ashram is an Israeli individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2018 World All-around silver medalist, two-time World All-around bronze medalist, the 2020 European All-around champion, and the 2019 European Games All-around silver medalist.

Alexandra Agiurgiuculese Italian rhythmic gymnast

Alexandra Ana Maria Agiurgiuculese is a Romanian-Italian individual rhythmic gymnast who represents Italy and coached by Špela Dragaš. She is a four-time medalist at the 2016 European Junior Championships. At the national level, she is the 2019 Italian National All-around champion, three-time Italian National All-around silver medalist and a three-time Italian Junior National champion, and a bronze medalist with the ball at the 2018 World Championships.

Hitomi Hatakeda is a Japanese female artistic gymnast. She is best known for winning four gold medals at the 2019 Summer Universiade and an all-around bronze medal at the 2020 American Cup.
