Gymnastics is a sport that includes physical exercises requiring balance, strength, flexibility, agility, coordination, and endurance. The movements involved in gymnastics contribute to the development of the arms, legs, shoulders, back, chest, and abdominal muscle groups. International Gymnastics Federation

The International Gymnastics Federation is the governing body of competitive gymnastics. Its headquarters is in Lausanne, Switzerland. Originally called the European Federation of Gymnastics, it had three member countries—Belgium, France and the Netherlands—until 1921, when non-European countries were admitted and it received its current name.

Acrobatic gymnastics

Acrobatic gymnastics is a competitive gymnastic discipline where partnerships of gymnasts work together and perform figures consisting of acrobatic moves, dance and tumbling, set to music. There are three types of routines; a 'balance' routine where the focus is on strength, poise and flexibility; a 'dynamic' routine which includes throws, somersaults and catches, and a 'combined' routine which includes elements from both balance and dynamic.

Axl Osborne is an acrobatic gymnast. He currently competes as the base in a mixed pair with his partner Tiffani Williams. With partner Tiffani Williams, Osbourne came 2nd at the 2016 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships. He previously competed as the base in a Level 9 mixed pair with his partner, acrobatic gymnast Lydia Webb.

Marie Annonson is a retired elite acrobatic gymnast who currently owns the acrobatic gymnastics facility West Coast Training Center (WCTC) in Livermore, California.

Edward Robin Upcott is a five times British acrobatic gymnast champion who was world men's pairs champion in partnership with Doug Fordyce, winning the gold medal in July 2010 in Poland. Before his partnership with Fordyce, Upcott was in partnership with Mark Fyson, who retired in 2009 after the pair had won the bronze medal in the 2008 world championships in Glasgow. With his new partner Adam McAssey, Upcott was awarded the silver medal in the 2012 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships.

Adam McAssey is a British acrobatic gymnast who won the title of world men's fours champion with Adam Buckingham, Alex Uttley and Jonathan Stranks in July 2010 in Poland. With partner Edward Upcott, McAssey achieved silver in the 2012 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships.

2010 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships

The 2010 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships was the 22nd edition of acrobatic gymnastics competition and were held in Wrocław, Poland from 16 to 18 July 2010, at the Hala Orbita.

2012 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships

The 2012 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships was the 23rd edition of acrobatic gymnastics competition and were held in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, United States from April 16 to April 18, 2012. It was held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex HP Field House.

2014 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships

The 24th World Acrobatic Gymnastics Championships were held in Levallois-Perret, France at the Palais des Sports Marcel-Cerdan from July 10 to July 12, 2014. 21 countries took part in the competition.

These are four lists of achievements in major international gymnastics events according to first-place, second-place and third-place results obtained by gymnasts representing different nations. The objective is not to create combined medal tables; the focus is on listing the best positions achieved by gymnasts in major international competitions, ranking the nations according to the most number of podiums accomplished by gymnasts of these nations. The Pan American Gymnastics Championships are considered by the International Gymnastics Federation to be the official continental championships for the Americas. 2018 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships

The 2018 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships was the 26th edition of acrobatic gymnastics competition and took place in Lotto Arena, Antwerp, Belgium from April 13 to April 15, 2018.

Gymnastics competitions at the 2019 European Games in Minsk, Belarus, were held from 22 to 30 June 2019 at the Minsk-Arena. A total of 32 gymnastics events were held in the five disciplines; artistic, rhythmic, trampolining, aerobic and acrobatic.

2019 Acrobatic Gymnastics European Championships

The 29th Acrobatic Gymnastics European Championships was held in Holon, Israel from October 30 to November 3, 2019. The competition took place at the Holon Toto Hall. This was the first time that Israel has hosted an acrobatic gymnastics competition at an international level.
