The 1994 World Artistic Gymnastics Team Championships were held in Dortmund, Germany, from 15 to 20 November 1994.

Contents

Only the team event was contested at this meet. The individual events and all-around were contested at another World Championships in Brisbane, Australia in April 1994. This was the only year in which the World Championships were split into two separate competitions.

Lauren Stephanie Mitchell is an Australian former artistic gymnast. She is the 2010 World champion on the floor exercise and the 2009 World Championships silver medalist on the balance beam and floor exercise. Mitchell is only the second Australian female gymnast to win a medal at the World Championships, and she is the first to win a gold medal. She is the 2010 Commonwealth Games champion in the all-around, uneven bars, and balance beam, and with the Australian team, and she is the 2008 World Cup Final balance beam champion. She also represented Australia at the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games.

He is also the 2022 European horizontal bar silver medalist and the 2020 European parallel bars bronze medalist. He represented Lithuania at the 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics.

Elisabeth Seitz is a German artistic gymnast. She is the 2022 European champion and the 2018 World bronze medalist on the uneven bars. She is one of the only female gymnasts in history to compete the Def release, and her eponymous skill, a full-twisting Maloney. Seitz has also had success in the individual all-around event, where she is the 2011 European silver medalist and an eight-time German national champion. She is a three-time Olympian, representing Germany at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, where she led her team to a sixth-place finish and placed fourth in the uneven bars final, and the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. In 2022, she was part of the first German team to ever win a European team medal.

She is also a five-time medalist on the FIG World Cup circuit. Rebeca Rodrigues de Andrade is a Brazilian artistic gymnast. She is the 2020 Olympic, 2021 and 2023 World champion on the vault and 2022 World all-around champion. Andrade is the first Brazilian female gymnast to medal at an Olympic Games, and she is only the second Brazilian woman to win a gold medal at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. She is also the 2020 Olympic silver medalist, the 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships silver medalist and the 2021 Pan American champion in the all-around, and won silver on the uneven bars at the 2021 World Championships, silver on the floor exercise at the 2023 World Championships, bronze on the balance beam at the 2023 World Championships and a bronze on the floor exercise at the 2022 World Championships. Jordan Lucella Elizabeth Chiles is an American artistic gymnast. She represented the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympics and won a silver medal in the team event. She was a member of the team that won gold at the 2022 World Championships. Individually, she is the 2022 World vault silver medalist and floor silver medalist. She has been a member of the United States women's national gymnastics team since 2013.

Sanne Wevers is a Dutch artistic gymnast. She is the 2016 Olympic champion on the balance beam and was the first Dutch female gymnast to become an Olympic champion in an individual event. She is the 2018 and 2023 European champion on the balance beam. She is also the 2015 World and 2021 European silver medalist on the balance beam and the 2015 European bronze medalist on the uneven bars. She was a member of the Dutch team that won the bronze medal at the 2018 and 2023 European Championships.

Lieke Wevers is a Dutch artistic gymnast. She was the first Dutch woman to win a European title in gymnastics: at the 2015 European Games, she won the gold medal on the balance beam and was the bronze medalist with the Dutch team, in the individual all-around, and on floor exercise. She competed at the 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics and qualified for the all-around finals.

Nina Derwael is a Belgian artistic gymnast. She is the 2020 Olympic champion, a two-time World champion, and a two-time European champion on the uneven bars. She is the 2019 European Games champion on the balance beam, as well as a two-time Belgian national all-around champion.

Elisa Hämmerle is an Austrian artistic gymnast. She represented Austria at the 2020 Summer Olympics and finished sixty-sixth in the all-around during the qualification round. She also represented Austria at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics and finished twelfth in the all-around final. She has won four medals on the FIG World Cup circuit, one silver and three bronze. Lee Chih-kai (simplified Chinese: 李智凯; traditional Chinese: 李智凱; Hanyu Pinyin: Lǐ Zhìkǎi; Tongyong Pinyin: Lǐ Jhìhkǎi; Wade–Giles: Li3 Chih4k'ai3; born 3 April 1996) is a Taiwanese artistic gymnast. He is the 2020 Olympic silver medalist in the pommel horse, and he was the first gymnast representing Chinese Taipei to win an Olympic medal. He is the 2019 World silver medalist and the 2018 World bronze medalist on the pommel horse. He is the 2018 Asian Games pommel horse champion and the 2019 Asian all-around champion. He is a three-time (2017, 2019 and 2021) Summer Universiade pommel horse champion.

Marine Clémence Boyer is a French female artistic gymnast. She was a member of the bronze medal-winning team at the 2023 World Championships and was also a part of the 2018 European and 2018 Mediterranean Games silver medal winning teams and the 2016 European bronze medal winning team. Individually she is the 2018 Mediterranean Games champion, the 2016 European silver medalist and the 2018 European bronze medalist on the balance beam. She represented France at the 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics. She is the 2016 French all-around champion and an eight-time medalist at the FIG World Cup series.

Hatakeda Hitomi is a Japanese former artistic gymnast who competed at the 2020 Olympic Games. She is the 2019 Summer Universiade champion in the team, all-around, uneven bars, and balance beam. She is also the 2020 American Cup all-around bronze medalist.

Laura Bechdejú Coll is a Spanish artistic gymnast. She represented Spain at the 2020 Summer Olympics and at the 2018 World Championships. She is a 2019 European all-around finalist and a four-time medalist at the Spanish Championships.
