Guo Linyao (born 10 March 1972) is a Chinese former gymnast who competed in the 1992 Summer Olympics. [1] Coach Linyao Guo was born in China. He was born into a well-known gymnastics family. Both his mother, Huiqi Suo, [2] and father, Shuzeng Guo [3] were gymnasts on the Chinese National Team. He has two older brothers, Guo Linsheng and Guo Linxian, and one older sister, Guo Linhong [4] who were all internationally competing gymnasts. His family, the "Guo" (国/國) [5] - meaning Nation, is well known among the Chinese gymnastics field.

Gabriele Fähnrich is a German former gymnast who represented East Germany (GDR). She is the 1985 World champion on the uneven bars. She also finished fourth in the all-around event at the 1985 World Championships, and won a bronze medal in the team event at the 1988 Olympic Games.

Ayiesha Naazmi Johnston is an Australian rhythmic gymnast who represented Australia at the 2008 Summer Olympics as well as the 2006 Commonwealth Games. She competed at world championships, including at the 2005 World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, 2009 World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships and 2010 World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships.

The men's parallel bars competition was one of eight events for male competitors in artistic gymnastics at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. The qualification and final rounds took place July 27, 29 and August 2 at the Palau dels Esports de Barcelona. There were 93 competitors from 25 nations, with nations in the team event having 6 gymnasts while other nations could have up to 3 gymnasts. The event was won by Vitaly Scherbo of the Unified Team, the third time in four Games that a Soviet or former Soviet gymnast won the rings. Li Jing of China earned silver. There was a three-way tie for third, with Igor Korobchinski of the Unified Team, Guo Linyao of China, and Masayuki Matsunaga of Japan each receiving bronze medals. They were the first medals for China in the parallel bars.

He is also the 2011 US national all-around gold medalist and the 2011 world champion on the parallel bars. He competed at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, winning a silver medal in men's team competition, as well as placing fourth in parallel bars and individual all-around. At the World Gymnastics Championships he won gold medals in 1995 and 1997 in men's team competition, shared a bronze for the horizontal bar in 1995, and took the individual gold medal for parallel bars in 1997.

Guo Linhong is a former artistic gymnast from China.

Mao Yi is a former Chinese artistic gymnast. She won the silver medal with the team in 2015 World Gymnastic Championships. She competed in the 2016 Olympic Games, where she and her teammates won a bronze medal in the team event.

Chen Yile is an elite Chinese female artistic gymnast. She is the 2018 Asian all-around and balance beam champion, and the 2017 Asian junior all-around and uneven bars champion. She was a member of the team that won the bronze medal at the 2018 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. Chen stars in the Olympic Channel documentary series "All Around", along with American gymnast Morgan Hurd and Russian gymnast Angelina Melnikova. The series shows her training and daily life as a 2020 Olympic hopeful.
