International Gymnastics Federation International gymnastics governing body

The International Gymnastics Federation is the governing body of competitive gymnastics. Its headquarters is in Lausanne, Switzerland. It was founded on July 23, 1881, in Liège, Belgium, making it the world's oldest existing international sports organisation. The National Gymnastics Arena is an indoor arena in Baku, Azerbaijan. The venue is mainly used for gymnastics.

The Pan American Gymnastics Union organizes Pan American Gymnastics Championships in different disciplines of gymnastics: men's and women's artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, acrobatic gymnastics, trampoline and tumbling, as well as aerobic gymnastics. The Pan American Gymnastics Championships are considered by the International Gymnastics Federation to be the official continental championships for the Americas. Pan American Championships have also been organized for the sport of aesthetic group gymnastics.

Lala Dmitrievna Kramarenko is a Russian individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2018 European Junior Ball and Ribbon champion and the 2018 Junior Grand Prix Final All-around champion. On the national level, she is a two-time (2020-2021) Russian National all-around silver medalist and a three-time (2017-2019) Russian Junior National all-around champion. In 2019 she won 3 titles at the first FIG Junior World Championships.

Desislava Vandova Bogusheva is a Bulgarian gymnastics coach and choreographer, Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG) breve judge and expert breve holder. She is known as the founder of the Aerobic Gymnastics in Thailand.

“Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation” Public Association is the overall governing body of the sports of gymnastics in Azerbaijan.

Ayşe Begüm Onbaşı is a Turkish aerobic gymnast competing in three events. She is a gold medalist of World and European championships.

2018 Aerobic Gymnastics World Championships

The 15th Aerobic Gymnastics World Championships took place in Guimarães, Portugal from June 1 to 3, 2018. The 8th World Age Group Competitions were held at the same place between May 25 and 27.

Farid Gayibov is the minister of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan and President of European Gymnastics.

2019 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships

The 2019 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships was held in Baku, Azerbaijan from 16 September to 22 September 2019. The competition took place at the National Gymnastics Arena and served as a qualifier to the 2020 Olympic Games.

Evita Griskenas American individual rhythmic gymnast

Evita Griskenas is an American individual rhythmic gymnast. On August 6, 2021, Evita represented the United States at the 2020 Olympic Games. She is a current member of the USA Rhythmic Gymnastics National Team. She has won multiple medals in international competition representing both North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center and the USA National Team. At the USA national level, Griskenas is the three-time All-Around silver medalist at the USA Senior National Championships (2017–19) and the USA Junior All-Around National Champion in 2015. In August 2019, she was recognized for having won the most medals by any single athlete in any sport at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru, winning four gold medals and one bronze medal.

Zeynab Hummatova is an Azerbaijani group rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2020 European Group All-around silver medalist.

The 2021 Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships will be held from 11 to 14 November 2021 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Lucas Barbosa is a Brazilian aerobic gymnast who finished third in the men's individual event at the 2021 Aerobic Gymnastics World Championships held in Baku, Azerbaijan.
