The 2006 Chinese motorcycle Grand Prix was the fourth race of the 2006 Motorcycle Grand Prix season. It took place on the weekend of 12–14 May 2006 at the Shanghai International Circuit.

The Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships are the world championships for the sport of rhythmic gymnastics. The tournament is promoted and organized by the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG). It is one of the three tournaments in rhythmic gymnastics officially organized by FIG, as well as the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup and the gymnastics competitions at the Olympic Games. The 2009 H.I.S. World Table Tennis Championships were held in Yokohama, Japan, from 28 April to 5 May 2009. The Chinese team dominated the competition, following their sweep of the gold medals in table tennis at the 2008 Summer Olympics. It was the tenth world table tennis championships at which China won all five available titles.

Dalian Professional F.C. Chinese association football club

Dalian Professional Football Club is a professional Chinese football club based in Dalian, Liaoning, that participates in the Chinese Super League under licence from the Chinese Football Association (CFA). The team is owned by Dalian Wanda Group headquartered in Beijing and their home stadium is Dalian Sports Center Stadium with a capacity of 61,000. The club was refounded on September 20, 2009, by Dalian Aerbin Group Company, Ltd., and started from the third tier of the Chinese football pyramid, the China League Two. Winning two consecutive league titles in the second and third tier professional football leagues, they were promoted to the top tier in 2012 Chinese Super League season where they experienced their highest ever placing of fifth in the same season. In 2014, they were relegated from the Chinese Super League. In December 2015, they were renamed Dalian Yifang Football Club. In October 2017, they won the Chinese League One championship and successfully upgraded. On May 25, 2019, Dalian Yifang Football Club was renamed Dalian Professional Football Club, with new logo unveiled on January 21, 2020.

Su Bingtian Chinese sprinter

Su Bingtian is a Chinese sprinter. He was the first ever Asian-born sprinter to break the 10-second barrier of the 100 metres event in track and field. His personal best in the 100 metres makes him the current co-holder of the 100 m Asian record, which is shared with Nigerian-born Qatari Femi Ogunode. Su's personal best in the 60 metres of 6.42 seconds makes him the current holder of the 60 m Asian record and places him within the top five of all-time 60 metres performances. After setting the Asian Record in 2018, he has become the fastest Man in Asia.

Liaoning F.C. association football club in China

Liaoning Football Club, officially known as Liaoning Hongyun, was a professional association football club with long history in Chinese football. The club can predate their formation to 1953, when Shenyang government sports body joined existing club Northeast China to play in the Chinese national football league. By 1956, the league was gradually expanded and regional sports institutes' own representatives were allowed, which eventually formed Liaoning Football Club. The club won several titles as well as the 1989–90 Asian Club Championship when they beat Nissan Yokohama in the final, making Liaoning FC the first Chinese club to win an Asian club championship trophy. Since February 26, 1994, the team was established as a full professional football club to play in the 1994 Chinese Jia-A League season, making them one of the founding members of the first fully professionalized top tier league in China.

Lü Huihui is a Chinese athlete who competes in the javelin throw. She won the silver medal at the 2015 World Championships and bronze medals at the 2017 and 2019 World Championships.

Fang Bo Chinese table tennis player

Fang Bo is a Chinese male table tennis player. In 2002, Fang Bo became a member of the Shandong Luneng table tennis club. In 2009, he joined the China national table tennis first team. In the same year December 2009, he won all four team and individual titles at the 2009 World Junior Championships, becoming the first youth player to accomplish this feat in China. At his peak in 2015, he reached the men's singles final at the World Championships by defeating the second-seeded Xu Xin and the defending champion Zhang Jike. Fang Bo then obtained his first world table tennis champion title in 2016 during the World Team Table Tennis Championships. In 2017, he partnered with Petrissa Solja of the German table tennis team and won bronze in the mixed doubles at the World Championships in Düsseldorf, Germany. Fang Bo was ranked fifth in the China National Table Tennis (First) Team after emerging as first runner-up of the 2018 China National Table Tennis Championships. In 2019, Fang Bo successfully led his teammates and Team Tian Jin to win the overall team gold medal in the 2019 China Super League. Concomitantly, Fang Bo represented UMMC at the ETTU Table Tennis Champions League and the team came in second after losing 2:3 to Fakel Gazprom Orenburg in the final leg.

The 2018 AFC Women's Futsal Championship was the second edition of the AFC Women's Futsal Championship, the biennial international futsal championship organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for the women's national teams of Asia. It took place in Thailand, which was appointed as hosts by the AFC on 29 July 2017, between 2 and 12 May 2018. The tournament was originally to be held between 15–26 August 2017, two years after the inaugural edition in 2015, but was postponed to the following year.

2017 Asian Youth Athletics Championships

The 2017 Asian Youth Athletics Championships was the second edition of the biennial, continental athletics competition for Asian athletes aged fifteen to seventeen. It was held at the National Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand from 20–23 May. Organised by the Athletics Association of Thailand, a total of forty events were contested with the events divided evenly between the sexes. The event programme mirrored that of the previous IAAF World Youth Championships in Athletics, with the exception of a boy's decathlon, rather than the octathlon.

The 2018 Women's World Team Squash Championships is the women's edition of the 2018 World Team Squash Championships, which serves as the world team championship for squash players. The event held in Dalian, China took place from 11 to 19 September 2018. The tournament is organized by the World Squash Federation and the Chinese Squash Association. The Egypt team won its fourth World Team Championships, beating the England team in the final.
