Yeny Contreras Loyola (born August 2, 1979) is a Chilean taekwondo practitioner. [1] [2] At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she competed in the Women's 57kg Taekwondo event, but was defeated in the first round. [3]
Dalia María Contreras Rivero is a Venezuelan taekwondo practitioner. She won a bronze medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in taekwondo. She also competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics, finishing 8th in her weight class.
Bat-El Gatterer is an Israeli Olympic taekwondo athlete. She was the women's 2010 European featherweight champion.
Hou Yuzhuo is a female Chinese Taekwondo practitioner. She won gold medal in 2009 Copenhagen World Taekwondo Championship and the silver at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
Marlène Olivia Harnois is a Canadian-born French taekwondo Olympic medalist, TV personality, philanthropist and a Knight of the Order of Merit, decorated by the President of France.
Suvi Mikkonen is a Finnish taekwondo practitioner. Mikkonen is a Finnish national champion, three times the Nordic champion, and won the European University Championship in 2009. She has competed in the 2009 and 2011 World Championships and the 2008 European Championships. Currently, she is a member of the Finnish National Team and, when in Finland, trains in Helsinki. She lives permanently in Madrid and trains with her coach and partner, Jesus Ramal, the head Olympic coach for the Finnish National Team.
Tseng Li-cheng is a Taiwanese taekwondo practitioner of aboriginal origin. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she won the bronze medal in the Taekwondo Women's 57 kg.
Hedaya Malak Wahba is an Egyptian taekwondo practitioner. She participated in the 2012, the 2016 Olympics and won a bronze medal in 2016, and the 2020 Olympics winning Egypt the gold medal in the tournament.

Natalya Mamatova is an Uzbek taekwondo practitioner, who competed in the women's heavyweight category. She became one of the first taekwondo fighters in history to represent Uzbekistan at the 2004 Summer Olympics, and later earned a silver medal in the 67-kg division at the 2006 World Military Championships in Seoul, South Korea.
Mariam Bah is a two-time Olympic taekwondo competitor and a multiple-time medalist at the African Taekwondo Championships from Côte d'Ivoire. She first competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, where she had an honor of carrying the national flag at the opening ceremony. Bah was eliminated in the first round after being defeated by Korea's Jang Ji-Won, with a score of 2–9. Because her opponent advanced into the final round and won the gold medal, Bah qualified for the repechage bout, where she was lost to Spain's Sonia Reyes in the first round. At her second Olympics in Beijing, Bah competed in the women's lightweight category (57 kg). In the first round, she fought against New Zealand's Robin Cheong, who made her debut at the Olympics. Neither of them had scored until Bah was given a defensive kick from her opponent. In the end, Bah was officially eliminated in the preliminary round of the competition.
Elaine Teo Shueh Fhern is a Malaysian Taekwondo exponent. She is a holder of a 4th dan Taekwondo Black Belt from Korea and 5th dan Malaysia. She has represented Malaysia from 1999-2011 in various international tournaments. Her experience as a professional Taekwondo exponent has placed her on the pedestal of honour nationally and internationally. One of her most memorable experience was being the first Taekwondo exponent in Malaysia to qualify twice for the Olympic Games.
Débora Fernanda da Silva Nunes is a Brazilian taekwondo practitioner. She competed for the women's featherweight category (57 kg) at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, after defeating tall American taekwondo jin Diana López for the gold medal at the Pan American Qualification Tournament in Cali, Colombia. She received an automatic free pass from the first round, after Niger's Lailatou Amadou Lele had been disqualified from the competition. She lost the quarterfinal match by a decisive point from Croatia's Martina Zubčić, with a score of 2–3.
Mildred Akinyi "Milka" Alango is a Kenyan taekwondo practitioner. Alango qualified for the women's 49 kg class at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, after winning the championship title from the African Qualification Tournament in Tripoli, Libya. She lost the preliminary match to China's Wu Jingyu, who was able to score seven points at the end of the game. Because her opponent advanced further into the final match, Alango took advantage of the repechage round by defeating Sweden's Hanna Zajc on the superiority rule, after the pair had tied 2–2. She progressed to the bronze medal match, but narrowly lost the medal to Venezuela's Dalia Contreras, with a sudden death score of 0–1.
Doris Esmid Patiño Marín is a Colombian taekwondo practitioner. She won a silver medal for the 57 kg class at the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico, losing out to Mexico's Irma Contreras. She later followed that up with a bronze medal four years later at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada.
Nguyễn Thị Hoài Thu is a Vietnamese taekwondo practitioner. She is a three-time medalist for the women's featherweight division at the Southeast Asian Games. She also captured two silver medals in the 53 and 59 kg classes at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar, and at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China, losing out to South Korea's Lee Sung-Hye and Thailand's Sarita Phongsri, respectively.
Veronica Calabrese is an Italian taekwondo practitioner. She won two bronze medals for the 57 and 59 kg classes at the European Taekwondo Championships. She also captured a silver medal in the same division at the 2009 World Taekwondo Championships in Copenhagen, Denmark, losing out to China's Hou Yuzhuo. Calabrese is a member of the taekwondo team for Centro Sportivo Esercito, and is coached and trained by Yoon Soon-Cheul. She is engaged to two-time Olympic medalist Mauro Sarmiento.
Dominican Republic competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 5 to 21 August 2016. This was the nation's fourteenth consecutive appearance at the Summer Olympics.
Maya Arusi is an Israeli taekwondo practitioner, who competed in the women's flyweight category. She claimed two medals in the 51-kg division at the Trelleborg Open, and became the first Israeli athlete in history to compete in taekwondo in the Olympics at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Arusi trained throughout her career for Amos Lod Taekwondo Club, under head coach and master Alexei Orehov.
Juana Wangsa Putri is an Indonesian taekwondo practitioner, who competed in the women's flyweight category. She claimed a silver medal in the 51 kg category at the 2002 Asian Taekwondo Championships in Amman, Jordan, earned bronze medals at two consecutive Asian Games, and represented Indonesia in two editions of the Olympic Games.
Pauline Louise Lopez is a Filipino taekwondo practitioner. She is a two-time gold medalist at the Southeast Asian Games and a bronze medalist at the Asian Games.
