Yichang railway station is the railway station in downtown Yichang, Hubei province. Since October 2012, it has been closed to passengers.
Yichang railway station was the first, and for several decades the only, passenger train station in Yichang. Its construction started in 1970, and it was opened for service in 1971. It remained the main (and only) passenger station in the Yichang area until the opening of the Yichang East railway station in Yichang's eastern suburbs in late 2010. After that, services at Yichang railway station were gradually reduced, as most trains now terminated at Yichang East. Finally with the opening of the Hanyi Railway on July 1, 2012, Yichang railway station was closed for renovations. [1] The renovation project actually started in October 2012 and is expected to take a few months. Along with the renovation of Yichang Station, the pedestrian overpasses over the tracks connecting Yichang station with Yichang East are constructed, in order to make it possible for the line to be used by high-speed EMU (i.e., D-series) trains. [1] [2] This probably means that Yichang railway station will eventually become the terminal for many of the Hankou-Yichang Railway trains, which currently (2012) terminate at Yichang East.
Beijing railway station, or simply Beijing station, is a passenger railway station in Dongcheng District, Beijing. The station is located just southeast of the city centre inside the Second Ring Road with Beijing Station Street to the north and the remnants of the city wall between Chongwenmen and Dongbianmen to the south. The Beijing railway station opened in 1959 and was the largest train station in China at the time. Though superseded by the larger Beijing West and Beijing South stations, this station remains the only one located inside the old walled city. Trains entering and leaving the station pass by the Dongbianmen corner tower. With gilded eaves and soaring clock towers, the architecture of the railway blends traditional Chinese and socialist realist influence.
Line 10 of the Beijing Subway is the second loop line in Beijing's rapid transit network as well as the second longest and most widely used line. The line is 57.024 km (35.4 mi) in length, and runs entirely underground through Haidian, Chaoyang and Fengtai Districts, either directly underneath or just beyond the 3rd Ring Road. The Line 10 loop is situated between 2 and 6 kilometres outside the Line 2 loop, which circumnavigates Beijing's old Inner City. Every subway line through the city centre intersects with Line 10, which has 24 transfer stations along route, and 45 stations in all. Line 10's color is capri.
Yichang, alternatively romanized as Ichang, is a prefecture-level city located in western Hubei province, China. It is the third largest city in the province after the capital, Wuhan and the prefecture-level city Xiangyang, by urban population. The Three Gorges Dam is located within its administrative area, in Yiling District.

It is connected with Hong Kong's East Rail line across the border, which had its southern terminus in Hung Hom in southern Kowloon until 2022.

Line 1 of the Guangzhou Metro runs from Xilang to Guangzhou East Railway Station. Apart from Kengkou and Xilang, all stations in Line 1 are underground. The first section, from Xilang to Huangsha, opened on 28 June 1997, making Guangzhou the fourth city in mainland China to have a metro system. Construction took a total of 66 months. The total investment is 12.2616 billion yuan with an average cost per kilometer of 662.9 million yuan. The full line started operation on 28 June 1999. Line 1 is coloured yellow.
Yichang East railway station, formerly Huayan railway station, is a railway station in Yichang City, Hubei Province, China. It is the junction of two sections of the Shanghai–Wuhan–Chengdu high-speed railway (Huhanrong): the Hanyi Railway, going east to Hankou (Wuhan), and the Yiwan Railway going west to Lichuan and Wanzhou. The Hanyi Railway is operated by the Wuhan Railway Bureau.

Wuhan–Yichang railway, or Hanyi railway, is a 291-kilometre (181 mi) long higher-speed railway between Hankou and Yichang, in Hubei province, China. The railway forms a section of the Huhanrong passenger-dedicated line from Shanghai to Wuhan to Chengdu. The Hanyi Railway was completed in spring 2012 and started commercial operations on July 1, 2012. Adjacent high-speed rail sections, the Hefei–Wuhan railway to the east and the Yichang−Wanzhou railway to the west, opened respectively in April 2009 and December 2010.
The Yichang–Wanzhou railway, or the Yiwan railway connects the cities of Yichang and Wanzhou via Lichuan, Hubei. It was completed in 2010 and forms part of the Shanghai–Wuhan–Chengdu passenger railway. Out of the line's total 377 km (234 mi) length, 288 km (179 mi) runs on bridges or in tunnels. According to the chief engineer, Zhang Mei, the line was the most difficult ever constructed in China. Operation started on 22 December 2010.

Fuyang railway station is a station on the Beijing–Kowloon railway in Fuyang, Anhui, and the largest station on this line in Anhui. It is also the terminus of the Fuhuai railway, Luofu railway and Qingfu railway. The station is one of the most important railways hubs of Anhui, served by about 90 trains a day and used by 9 million passengers a year.

The Yichang–Xingshan high-speed railway, also referred to in Chinese under the acronym Yichang-Zhengwan high-speed railway connection line, is a high-speed railway under construction between Yichang on the Wuhan–Yichang railway and Xingshan on the Zhengzhou–Wanzhou high-speed railway in Hubei province, China. It will form part of the Shanghai–Chongqing–Chengdu high-speed railway. The total length of the line is 109.38 km (67.97 mi), and there are 3 stations on the whole line. It is a line connecting the Wuhan–Yichang railway and the Zhengzhou–Wanzhou high-speed railway. The line will run from Yichang East station via thee Changgangling area and Xiabaoping station to Xingshan station. In addition, this line is also planned to be connected with Yichang North railway station and the Wuhan–Yichang high speed railway, also currently under construction. The estimated total investment of the project is 18.15 billion yuan, the construction period is 5.5 years, the design speed is 350 km/h (220 mph), and 94.37% of the main line will run on bridge or through tunnel. It is expected to be officially completed and opened to traffic in 2024. After the completion of the line, combined with the Zhengzhou-Wanzhou HSR to form a new east–west high-speed railway route in the Sichuan-Chongqing area, the Wuhan–Chongqing route will be shortened from the current fastest service of 5 hours and 54 minutes to about 3 hours, and Wuhan–Chengdu services will take only 5 hours. At the same time, journeys between Yichang and Beijing will be shortened from the current 8 hours to about 4.5 hours.
