An alternate version of the album was released on vinyl in 2017, then again in 2022, featuring the original track list along with four different bonus tracks.

This album resulted in many firsts for the band: it was their first studio album to feature Lyn-Z on bass, first studio album to have alternate versions, first studio album to reach the Billboard, first studio album to be released outside of the US, first studio album in which clean versions of all the tracks were released to retail, and their first studio album to have music videos based on tracks besides those excerpted from live shows.[ citation needed ]

The cover on the album is a blue cross made up of many video game controllers and systems, including the GameCube, PlayStation, PlayStation 2, Xbox, Atari 2600, Nintendo Entertainment System, Super NES, Genesis, and the Power Glove. The cover for the Japanese version is a parody of the cover art on Another Mindless Rip Off.

Crawl to China is the fifth studio album by the American Christian metal band Tourniquet. It was initially released on Benson Records in 1997. This album took the band's music style to a more simplistic rock sound. The song "Claustrospelunker" includes bass guitarist Tim Gaines of the American Christian metal band Stryper. The lyrics of the song "The Tell-Tale Heart" are based on Edgar Allan Poe's 1843 short story of the same name. Darker Than Darkness -Style 93- is the seventh studio album by the Japanese rock band Buck-Tick. It was released on June 23, 1993, through Victor Entertainment. The album peaked at number two on the Oricon chart, became a certified gold seller by July 1993, and subsequently sold 213,260 copies. After several demos were released via YouTube, the album began production. The cover art and track listing were released for people who had backed the campaign on March 12, 2013. Digital downloads from Kickstarter were released on March 13, 2013. The official album release occurred on May 14, 2013. The album was released through Metropolis Records with a bonus track; a cover of Supertramp's "The Logical Song". The name of the record is a reference to the film Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb and a reflection of the band "being themselves and loving the work that they do".
