You, Whom I Have Always Hated is a collaborative album by American sludge metal bands The Body and Thou. Released on January 27, 2015 through Thrill Jockey record label, the album was included on the reissue of bands' first collaborative effort, Released from Love EP (2014).

Upon its release, You, Whom I Have Always Hated received positive reviews from music critics. At Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from critics, the album received an average score of 78, which indicates "generally favorable reviews", based on 10 reviews. [1] Allmusic critic Fred Thomas wrote: "The crushing intensity on this collection is commonplace for both bands, but comes together with more swampy layers than either can muster on their own." [2] Pitchfork stated: "Though it shows signs of both responsible parties, it also proves their inherent restlessness, as they’re both willing to bend toward one another to create something richer than they might have rendered themselves." [3] PopMatters's Austin Price described the record as "a monolithic album, so massive and so black and often so much of a piece that to try to take it in at a glance or to distinguish certain elements seems either imposing or impossible." [4]
The Quietus' Dean Brown thought that the release "highlights the bleak force that these bands can channel and how impactful it is when united as one." [7] Kelly Kim of Spin praised the album, stating: "Every note sounds instinctual, every moment fluid; this is what happens when good friends come together to watch the world burn." [5] Nevertheless, Tiny Mix Tapes was more mixed in their review of the album, describing it as "a fucking heavy record, an absolute destroyer in fact." They added: "With thunderous riffs and gargantuan bass lines that come wrapped in noise and effects, the album certainly has moments of genuine terror." [6]

To Be Kind is the thirteenth studio album by American experimental rock band Swans, released on May 12, 2014. It was released as a triple LP, a double CD, and a two-CD deluxe edition that includes a live DVD of performances from Hellfest Open Air Festival, Pitchfork Music Festival and Primavera Sound Festival, as well as a digital download. Critical reception of the album was very positive, continuing a string of well-received albums from the band. The album peaked at number 37 on US Billboard 200, and debuted at number 38 on the UK Albums Chart. Both are the highest chartings that Swans had ever achieved on a studio album, and it is the first time that the band cracked the top 40 in both countries.
The Powers That B is the fourth studio album, and first double album, by experimental hip hop group Death Grips. The album's first disc, Niggas on the Moon, was released as a free digital download on June 8, 2014. The first disc's instrumentation was performed entirely on a Roland V-Drum kit by drummer Zach Hill and features chopped vocal samples of Icelandic singer-songwriter Björk on every track. The second half, Jenny Death, leaked online on March 19, 2015. It features Nick Reinhart of Tera Melos, and Zach's former high school bandmate, Julian Imsdahl, on guitar and organ respectively. The double album as a whole was officially released via Harvest Records on March 31, 2015.

It was self-released, available for free, on January 4, 2015 via Third Worlds, without any prior announcement. It was the band's first release after their supposed disbandment in 2014, and also the first release to not feature vocals from frontman MC Ride, which was a major factor in its mixed-to-positive critical reception.

The album was released on March 25, 2016 though Neurot Recordings—a label founded by members of Neurosis and Tribes of Neurot. The title, One Day You Will Ache Like I Ache, is a nod to the lyrics of the 1994 Hole song, "Doll Parts". The album was also listed on Consequence of Sound's most anticipated 2016 metal releases.
