Yuri Omeltchenko (born 6 September 1971) [1] [2] is a Ukrainian Swedish orienteering competitor, winner of the 1995 World Orienteering Championships, Short distance. [3] He also obtained silver in the 2003 Long distance World Championships, and shared silver on Sprint distance in 2004. He works in a school in southeast Sweden. The school is called Sunnadalskolan F - 9 in Karlskrona, he works as a physical education teacher. He enjoys riding bikes and swimming.

Emil Wingstedt is a Swedish orienteering competitor. He won the 2005 and 2006 Sprint World Orienteering Championships, and finished third on the long distance in 2003. He is Relay World Champion from 2003 with the Swedish team, as well as having a silver medal from 2007, and bronze medals from 2004 and 2006. He is a four-time European Champion, winning the Sprint distance in 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2008. He won the classical relay race Tiomila in 2006, 2007 and 2012 with his club team Halden SK.

Karolina Arewång-Höjsgaard is a Swedish orienteering competitor. She won the 2004 Long distance World Orienteering Championships, and has silver medals from 2003 and 2004 (Sprint). She is Relay World Champion from 2004, and has silver medals from 2003 and 2006, and a bronze medal from 2005, as member of the Swedish team.

Marlena Jansson is a Swedish orienteering competitor. She is three times Relay World Champion as a member of the Swedish winning team in 1991, 1993 and 1997, as well as having a silver medal from 1995 and a bronze medal from 1999. She also shared bronze with Anna Bogren in the Short distance World Championship in 1995. She obtained the first place in the Overall World Cup in 1994 and second one in 1996. She is five times individual Swedish Champion, and Nordic Relay Champion from 1992.

Gunilla Svärd is a Swedish orienteering competitor. She is two times Relay World Champion as a member of the Swedish winning team in 1997 and 2004, as well as having silver medals from 2001 and 2003, and a bronze medal from 1999. She obtained bronze in the Short distance World Championship in 2001. Svärd won in the Overall World Cup in 1996, and she has obtained three victories in individual World Cup races. She also has a gold medal from 2002 in the European Orienteering Championships, and more than twenty-five medals from the Swedish Championships.

Jenny Johansson is a Swedish orienteering competitor. She is Relay World Champion as a member of the Swedish winning team in 2004, as well as having silver medals from 2001, 2003 and 2006, and bronze medal from 2005. She obtained silver in the Short distance World Championship in 2001 and Middle distance in 2005, and bronze in the Sprint distance in 2003.

Mattias Karlsson is a Swedish orienteering competitor. He is Relay World Champion from 2003, as a member of the Swedish winning team in the World Orienteering Championship in Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland. He also has bronze medals from 2004 and 2006 (relay), and obtained silver in the 2004 Long distance World Championships in Västerås, Sweden. He is several times Swedish Champion, in 1998, in 1999, in 2002, and in 2006 (Relay).

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Emma Claesson</span> Swedish orienteering competitor

Emma Claesson is a Swedish orienteering competitor from Borlänge. She received a silver medal on the relay at the 2007 World Orienteering Championships in Kyiv, and a bronze medal in 2005. As a last-minute replacement in the Swedish relay team, she earned a bronze medal in the relay at the 2010 World Orienteering Championships in Trondheim, Norway. This was her second medal at those Championships, as she earned another bronze in the long distance, her first individual WOC medal. She is an 11-time Swedish champion.

Øystein Kvaal Østerbø is a Norwegian orienteering and ski-orienteering competitor. He finished overall third in the Orienteering World Cup in 2004, and won a silver medal in the relay in the 2004 World Ski Orienteering Championships. He has competed in all fifteen World Orienteering Championships since his debut in 2004 until 2018, obtaining his first two medals in Inverness in 2015; in the relay and mixed sprint relay, respectively. His best individual achievements are fourth places in the sprint in 2005 and 2010.

Emil Svensk is a Swedish orienteering competitor. He was born in Borlänge. He won a gold medal in the middle distance at the 2013 Junior World Orienteering Championships. At the 2018 European Orienteering Championships in Cadempino he won a silver medal in the mixed sprint relay with the Swedish team. He competed at the 2018 World Orienteering Championships in Latvia, where he placed sixth in the sprint final, and won a gold medal in the mixed sprint relay, together with Karolin Ohlsson, Jonas Leandersson and Tove Alexandersson. In the 2019 World Orienteering Championships in Norway he participated in the winning Swedish relay team together with Johan Runesson and Gustav Bergman. Even in the 2023 World Orienteering Championships he participated together with Albin Ridefeldt and Gustav Bergman in the Swedish relay team which won the bronze medal.

Ruslan Glebov , also known as Ruslan Glibov, is a Ukrainian orienteering competitor. He was born in Dnipro, Ukraine.
