Zard Forever Best: 25th Anniversary is the fourth compilation album by Japanese pop band Zard. It was released on 10 February 2016 under B-Gram Records. [1]
The album was released on same day as Zard debut single Good-bye My Loneliness. This album includes 4 CDs of the biggest hits from their career such as Makenaide, Yureru Omoi or Kokoro wo Hiraite with total 52 tracks.
Each CD symbolizes nature season such as spring (CD1), summer (CD2), autumn (C3) and winter (CD4). This album was released to promote Zard's 25th anniversary debut. In 2017 they were released as individual CDs with different color title. [2] [3]
All the songs went through digital remastering with new original release on Blu-spec CD format. First press edition included booklet of Zard's photos and special QR code where fans could see making and preparation of their first live performance on ship Zard Cruising & Live. [4] [5]
Three types of commercials had been aired: with female, male voice and Conan's (Minami Takayama)'s voice actor and later uploaded on their official YouTube channel. [6] [7] [8]
The album reached daily #1 and weekly #4 rank in first week. It charted for 247 weeks and sold more than 237,000 copies so far. [9] The album received Golden award as well. [10]
All lyrics written by Izumi Sakai, except Disc 2 #8 and #13 written by both Izumi Sakai and Show Wesugi.

Golden Best: 15th Anniversary is Zard's fifth compilation album. Released in October 2006 under B-Gram Records. The album peaked #1 at Oricon weekly, charted for eighty one weeks and sold 942,220 units.
Hold Me is the third album by Japanese pop-rock group Zard and was released on September 2, 1992, under the Polydor label. In 1992, the album was released as a CD and cassette. In 1993, B-Gram Records re-released this album under CD format with code BGCH-1005.
Yureru Omoi is the fourth album by Zard and was released on July 10, 1993 under B-Gram Records.
Forever You is the sixth album by Zard and was released on March 10, 1995, under B-Gram Records label.

Kimi to no Distance is the Zard 11th and final studio album, released on September 7, 2005 under B-Gram Records label. The album consist theme songs used for anime television series Detective Conan. Although Sakai released singles in 2006, this was Izumi Sakai's last album before her death in 2007.
"Unmei no Roulette Mawashite" is Zard's 25th single released on September 17, 1998, under B-Gram Records label. The single reached #1 rank during the first week after being released. It charted for 9 weeks and sold 247,000 copies. When Izumi Sakai died, it was elected as her fourth best song on the Oricon polls.

"Kanashii Hodo Anata ga Suki/Karatto Ikō! (悲しいほど貴方が好き/カラッといこう!)" is the 41st single by Zard and released 8 March 2006 under B-Gram Records label. Kanashii Hodo Anata ga Suki wasn't included in their final studio album Kimi to no Distance, however it got released in their compilation album Brezza di mare: Dedicated to Izumi Sakai. Karatto Ikō! was released only in their compilation album Zard Single Collection in 2012.
"Hoshi no Kagayaki yo/Natsu wo Matsu Sail no Yō ni" is the 40th single by Zard and released 20 April 2005 under the B-Gram Records label. The composer of Natsu wo Matsu Sail no Yō ni, Aika Ohno self-cover this single in her cover album Silent Passage.
"Kono Ai ni Oyogi Tsukarete mo/Boy (この愛に泳ぎ疲れても/Boy)" is the 11th single by Zard and released 2 February 1994 under B-Gram Records label. The single debuted at #1 rank first week. It charted for 15 weeks and sold over 887,000 copies.
"Kimi ni Aitaku Nattara... (君に逢いたくなったら…)" is the 20th single by Zard released on February 26, 1997 via B-Gram Records. The single debuted at #2 rank first week. It charted for 11 weeks and sold over 636,000 copies.

It was released on 9 October 2002 on Zain Records, on the same day as their music video compilation "View Clips -Memorial Best-". The album includes all of their released singles in addition to some unreleased songs. The "view" singles are not included. The album reached #19 in its first week and sold 12,000 copies. The album charted for 2 weeks and sold more than 16,000 copies. After the album's release and their last live performance, Field of View disbanded.
