Zaruiyeh-ye Sofla (Persian : زاروييه سفلي‎, also Romanized as Zārū’īyeh-ye Soflá; also known as Zārū’īyeh and Zārū’īyeh-ye Pā’īn)^[1] is a village in Jowzam Rural District, Dehaj District, Shahr-e Babak County, Kerman Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 76, in 15 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Jowzam Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Dehaj District, Shahr-e Babak County, Kerman Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was was 10,659, in 2,256 families; excluding Jowzam, the population was 2,710, in 761 families. The rural district has 51 villages.
