Zavaraq (Persian : زوارق‎, also Romanized as Zavāraq; also known as Tāzeh Kand-e Zavāraq)^[1] is a village in Benajuy-ye Gharbi Rural District, in the Central District of Bonab County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 2,247, in 573 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Benajuy-ye Gharbi Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Bonab County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2018 census, its population was 32,862, in 8,271 families. The rural district has 15 villages due to the newly founded village of Wubpahjuy.

The Central District of Bonab County is a district (bakhsh) in Bonab County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 125,209, in 31,921 families. The District has one city: Bonab. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Benajuy-ye Gharbi Rural District, Benajuy-ye Sharqi Rural District, and Benajuy-ye Shomali Rural District.
