Zemaiah Vaughn (born April 2, 2002) is an American professional football cornerback for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Utah Utes.

High school career

Vaughn attended Beaumont United High School in Beaumont, Texas, where he played quarterback. [1] As a senior, he had 854 passing yards with eight touchdowns and 1,049 rushing yards. He originally committed to play college football at Lamar University before switching to the University of Utah. [2]

College career

Vaughn played in four games his first year at Utah in 2020 and had one interception. In 2021, he played in 13 games with four starts and recorded 24 tackles. In 2022, he had seven starts in 14 games and finished with 25 tackles. [3] [4] Vaughn started all 13 games in 2023, recording 53 tackles and one interception. [5] He returned to Utah for the 2024 season. [6]

Vaughn signed with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent on April 26, 2025. [9] He was waived on August 26 as part of final roster cuts. [10] He was signed to the practice squad the next day. [11]
