Chaz Chambliss is an American college football linebacker for the Georgia Bulldogs.

Early life

Chambliss attended Carrollton High School in Carrollton, Georgia. He was rated as a four-star recruit and held offers from schools such as Alabama, LSU, Tennessee, Clemson, Georgia, Florida State, Notre Dame, Ohio State. [1] Ultimately, Chambliss decided to commit to play college football for the Georgia Bulldogs. [2] [3]

College career

During Chambliss's first three seasons from 2021 through 2023, he appeared in 40 games, where he totaled 46 tackles with eight being for a loss, two and a half sacks, three pass deflections, and an interception, while also winning two national championships in 2021 and 2022. [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] In week seven of the 2024 season, Chambliss recorded three tackles with one going for a loss, as he helped the Bulldogs to a win over the Mississippi State Bulldogs. [9] In week ten, Chambliss notched six tackles with two and a half being for a loss, and two sacks, as he helped the Bulldogs to a win over the Florida Gators, where for his performance he was named the Co-SEC defensive player of the week.
