Zendtijd voor Kerken (abbr. ZvK: English: Airtime for Churches) was a special broadcaster on the Netherlands Public Broadcasting system, which was allowed to broadcast on radio and television because of their religious background. It was one of the "2.42 broadcasters" (named after the Article 2.42 of the Mediawet, the Dutch media law, which allowed faith-based broadcasters to get airtime on radio and TV without having to have any members).
On 1 January 2016, ZvK closed down and its programming is now produced by EO. [1]
Evangelische Omroep is one of the twelve member-based broadcasting associations contributing to the Netherlands Public Broadcasting system. It has as its mission to bring people into contact with Jesus Christ and its statement of faith is a form of Evangelicalism. EO is one of the few broadcasting associations in the pillarized Dutch broadcasting system to have remained totally faithful to its religious roots. For a long time every one of its programmes made reference to God and to the Christian religion, although this is less often the case in the 21st century.

The Reformed Churches in the Netherlands (Liberated) are an orthodox Reformed, Protestant federation of churches. This church body arose in 1944 out of the so-called Liberation, when many pastors and members refused to go along with the General Synod's demand to hold to "presumed regeneration of infants" at their baptism. Klaas Schilder played an important role in the Liberation. There are currently 270 affiliated local congregations with a total of about 120,000 members in 2016.
The Union of Baptist Churches in the Netherlands is a union of Baptist churches formed by seven congregations in 1881. The first Baptist church in the Netherlands was formed by Englishman John Smyth. The present work is not historically connected to Smyth's congregation. The modern Baptist movement can be traced to the work of Julius Köbner in 1845. The Union of Baptist Churches in the Netherlands is a member of the European Baptist Federation and the Baptist World Alliance. In 1998, the Union had 12,253 members in 88 congregations. The Seminarium van de Unie van Baptistengemeenten Ned is affiliated with the Union. Most Baptists not in the Union fellowship in the Brotherhood of Baptist Churches, formed in 1981.
IKON took care of part of the technical facilities of ZvK, until the closure of both broadcasters.
The Interkerkelijke Omroep Nederland (IKON) was a Dutch public broadcaster which made radio and television broadcasts on behalf of seven church communities. IKON also offered other services such as Teletekst, the IKON newspaper, the IKON pastorate and Internet. In IKON's airtime, the Wilde Ganzen collected money for projects in the Third World.
