He served as a founding member of the board of directors of the Saskatchewan Native Theatre Company. Tootoosis offered encouragement, support and training to aspiring Aboriginal actors. He served as a leading Cree activist both as a social worker and as a band chief. In Open Season and Boog and Elliot's Midnight Bun Run, Tootoosis was the voice of Sheriff Gordy.
The Gladstone House is a hotel in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was built in 1889 and named after Gladstone Avenue, next to the hotel. The Parkdale area hotel was designed by local architect George Martell Miller in the Romanesque Revival style. The Gladstone House is one of the oldest hotel buildings still operating as a hotel in Toronto. Since renovations in the early 2000s, the hotel has become an arts hub in the West Queen West neighbourhood of Toronto.

The Great Canadian Theatre Company (GCTC) is a professional theatre company based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Erin M. K. Weir is a Canadian politician from Saskatchewan. From 2015 until 2019, he was Member of Parliament for the riding of Regina—Lewvan. Weir initially sat as a member of the federal New Democratic Party (NDP) but was expelled from the party's caucus on May 3, 2018 after a third party investigation sustained three claims of sexual harassment. Before entering federal politics, Weir ran in the 2013 Saskatchewan New Democratic Party leadership election and was an economist with the Canadian section of the United Steelworkers union.

After one intense day with a professional designer—learning the ins and outs of design theory—the design student gets to test their newly acquired design savvy during a two-day makeover. With $3000 and a team of renovators at their disposal, the student has to transform one room in their house. At the end, the design professor returns to review the results to see if the student makes the grade.
