Description

The course is located on Hisar-Barwala road next to Hisar Airport, parallel to the future runway extension. It is close to Blue Bird Lake, Deer Park, Hisar, and Shatavar Vatika Herbal Park, Hisar. It was set up by the Haryana Police, which is a department of Government of Haryana.

Hisar Airport is a public airport serving Hisar in Haryana state of India. It is located 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) north-east of the city center on National Highway 10. Hisar is a Counter Magnet City near the National Capital Region of India, inside the influence zone of Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Project (DMIC). The airport site lies 165 kilometres (103 mi) from Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi and 280 kilometres (170 mi) from the capital's Chandigarh International Airport. Hence the Haryana State Government chose to develop an aviation hub at Hisar, encompassing an international airport, a Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) zone, and aero manufacturing industrial zone spread across 4,194 acres (1,697 ha) To this end, the State Government of Haryana has made provisions of INR 50 crore in 2016–17, INR 50 crore in 2017–18 and INR 120 crore in 2018–19.
