Rush Run was an unincorporated community and coal town in Fayette County, West Virginia, United States.
The Cacapon River, located in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle region, is an 81.0-mile-long (130.4 km) shallow river known for its fishing, boating, wildlife, hunting, and wilderness scenery. As part of the Potomac River watershed, it is an American Heritage River.

Back Creek is a 59.5-mile-long (95.8 km) tributary of the Potomac River that flows north from Frederick County, Virginia, to Berkeley County in West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle. Back Creek originates along Frederick County's border with Hampshire County, West Virginia, at Farmer's Gap in the Great North Mountain. Its name reflects its location to the west of North Mountain. The perspective of colonists from the east in the 18th century led them to call it "Back Creek", because it lay to the back of North Mountain.
Cold Stream is an unincorporated community in Hampshire County in the U.S. state of West Virginia. Cold Stream is located north of Capon Bridge on Cold Stream Road. Referred to as Edwards Run in its past, the community of Cold Stream is in proximity to where Edwards Run empties into the Cacapon River. The community most likely took its name from a nearby stream of the same name noted for the cold water it contains. Their post office has been closed.
Files Crossroad is an unincorporated community in Berkeley County, West Virginia, United States. The community is located east of Martinsburg on West Virginia Route 45 at its crossroads with County Route 45/4. The community was originally known as Smoketown, hence the name of its historic Smoketown Cemetery.

He played college football for the West Virginia Mountaineers, earning consensus All-American honors. He was chosen by the Houston Texans in the third round of the 2008 NFL Draft. Slaton also played for the NFL's Miami Dolphins and the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL).

The team was coached by Rich Rodriguez until he announced on December 16, 2007, that he was leaving West Virginia to coach the Michigan Wolverines. Stewart was then named head coach on January 3, 2008, after leading the Mountaineers to victory in the 2008 Fiesta Bowl over the #3 Oklahoma Sooners. West Virginia played their home games on Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium in Morgantown, West Virginia.
The 2005 West Virginia Mountaineers football team completed the season with an 11–1 record. The Mountaineers won their third consecutive Big East title with a conference record of 7–0. They ended the season with a 38–35 Sugar Bowl win over Georgia.
