The 1929 European Wrestling Championships were held in the men's Freestyle style in Paris 14 - 16 February 1929; the Greco-Romane style and in Dortmund 3 - 5 April 1929. [1] [2]

Michael Stephen Manna, better known by his ring name Stevie Richards, is an American professional wrestler. Over the course of his career, Richards has performed for major professional wrestling promotions including Eastern/Extreme Championship Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling, World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling and Ring of Honor. Jeremy Lynn, better known by the ring name Jerry Lynn, is an American retired professional wrestler currently signed with All Elite Wrestling as a producer and coach. He has worked for promotions such as World Championship Wrestling (WCW), Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), NWA Total Nonstop Action, and Ring of Honor (ROH). Lynn is a two time world heavyweight champion, having held the ECW World Heavyweight Championship once and the ROH World Championship once. Other championships held by Lynn in his career include the GWF Light Heavyweight Championship (once), WWF Light Heavyweight Championship (once), the TNA X Division Championship (twice), the NWA World Tag Team Championship (twice) and the WWA International Cruiserweight Championship (once). Lynn retired as an active wrestler on March 23, 2013, exactly 25 years after his career began.
Final Resolution is a professional wrestling Impact Plus event held by Impact Wrestling in December. Initially introduced as a pay-per-view by TNA in 2005, the event originally took place in January until 2008, when TNA moved the event to December of that year, with two Final Resolutions took place that year. On January 11, 2013, TNA announced that only four PPVs would be produced that year, with Final Resolution among the titles dropped. It would be produced as a special episode of TNA's weekly television program Impact Wrestling in 2013 and was revived as a monthly special for Impact Plus in 2020.

Lucas James Uggles Eatwell, better known by his ring name Zack Sabre Jr., is an English professional wrestler. He is currently signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he is a member of The Mighty Don't Kneel stable, and is the current and inaugural NJPW World Television Champion in his first reign. From 2017, Sabre Jr was a part of the Suzuki-gun stable, until its disbandment in 2022. Outside NJPW, Sabre performs for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG), Ring of Honor (ROH), Revolution Pro Wrestling (RPW), and Progress Wrestling (Progress).
The European Wrestling Championships is the second oldest international wrestling competition of the modern world and the main wrestling championships in Europe. It predates World Wrestling Championships and other regional wrestling championships and is second only to the wrestling events at the Olympics. From its inception in 1898 till 1927 only Greco-Roman wrestling was contested. Since 1929 separate freestyle wrestling events were held as well. Since 1970 the two Olympic wrestling styles were contested together during the same unified events. Since 1973 Sambo wrestling was included into the championships programme along with GR and freestyle wrestling. Since 2014 associated traditional wrestling styles recognized globally by UWW were incorporated into the annual championships schedule.

He is in a tag team with Ivar called The Viking Raiders, managed by his real-life wife, who performs as Valhalla. He and Tyler Bate formed the tag team Moustache Mountain, who also had won the Progress Tag Team Championship and the RPW Undisputed British Tag Team Championship in the UK, as well as the Chikara Campeonatos de Parejas in the United States. Seven, Bate, and Pete Dunne collectively form the team "British Strong Style". Seven has also competed as a singles competitor, being a one-time ICW World Heavyweight Champion.

British Strong Style was a professional wrestling stable made up of Pete Dunne, Trent Seven and Tyler Bate, best known for their tenure together in WWE. Dunne currently competes on the SmackDown brand and Bate competes on the NXT brand. Seven last worked for WWE in the NXT UK brand, before his release in August, 2022. Dunne and Seven formed the group in the Progress Wrestling (Progress) promotion in July 2016 as a tag team, before adding Bate, who had been Seven's tag team partner as part of Moustache Mountain since April 2015, in November 2016. The group dominated Progress over the following year with Dunne holding the Progress World Championship and Bate and Seven the Progress Tag Team Championship. Though primarily appearing in Progress, the stable has also worked for several other promotions in the United Kingdom, including Chikara, where they won the 2017 King of Trios tournament.
