The men's team tournament at the 1965 Asian Badminton Championships, also known as the Tunku Abdul Rahman Cup (Malay : Piala Tunku Abdul Rahman) took place from 30 October to 5 November 1965 at Babu Banarasi Das Indoor Stadium in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. A total of 8 countries took part in the event. Burma and Pakistan withdrew from the event. [1]

Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj ibni Almarhum Sultan Abdul Hamid Halim Shah was a Malaysian statesman and lawyer who served as the first prime minister of Malaysia and the head of government of its predecessor states from 1955 to 1970. He was the first chief minister of the Federation of Malaya from 1955 to 1957. He supervised the independence process that culminated on 31 August 1957. As an independent Malaysia's first prime minister, he dominated the country's politics for the next 13 years.
Sultan Sir Ismail Nasiruddin Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Haji Zainal Abidin III Mu’azzam Shah was Sultan of Terengganu from 1945 until his death in 1979, and the fourth Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the constitutional monarch of Malaysia, from 1965 to 1970.

Merdeka Tournament is an international friendly football tournament held in Malaysia to commemorate the Independence Day. It is mainly played at Independence Stadium, Kuala Lumpur. The competition bears the Malay word for independence. The Merdeka Tournament was once regarded as the 'Grand Old Lady of Asia' where top teams from football playing nations would love to be invited. As of 2023, the tournament has been held 42 times, and with decreasing frequency in recent decades. The Merdeka Tournament is the oldest invitational football tournament in Asia and the matches in the tournament are considered International "A" matches(Friendly match) by FIFA.
The MCKK Premier 7's 2013 was the third edition of the annual, invitational Malay College Rugby Premier Sevens, which involved teams from Malaysia premier schools, states champions and international schools. Brunei International School and Hong Kong Sports School joined in the fray as international participant, other than Vajiravudh College of Thailand.Singapore withdrew their participation this year and is replaced by Maktab Rendah Sains Mara Kuala Terengganu It was held from 22 till 24 February 2013. The defending champions, Sekolah Sukan Tengku Mahkota Ismail were shocked by their first defeat in the tournament after two undefeated editions which led to its failure of retaining the NJ Ryan Cup. However, it wrapped up this edition as Bowl champion. After two editions, the host, Malay College Kuala Kangsar, finally were crowned as the new champions, defeating Sekolah Menengah Sains Hulu Selangor in Cup final with score 19–7.
The MCKK Premier 7's 2014 was the fourth edition of the annual, invitational Malay College Rugby Premier Sevens, which involved teams from Malaysia premier schools, states champions and international schools. It was scheduled from 28 February till 2 March 2014. For the fourth edition of the Tournament, the number of international teams invited has increased from three teams in the previous Tournament to five teams. This year, teams from New Zealand and South Africa, two Test Playing Rugby Nations, will feature for the first time in the Tournament together with debutant Singapore. Thailand and Hong Kong will also be returning this year. The tournament is also on the verge of being recognized by International Rugby Board with help by Malaysian Rugby Union. The tagline for this tournament is "Premiering Talent and Sportsmanship". Initially, Brunei Sports School were confirmed of participating the events before pulling out in the final minute.

It were scheduled from 28 February till 1 March 2015. The international teams again return to three compare to previous Tournament of five teams. Hong Kong Sports School, dethroned the defending champion, Scots College with score 31–12 in the tournament first nonlocals final.
This article is about the fourth cabinet of the first Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tunku Abdul Rahman. He announced his cabinet on 21 May 1969, eight days after the 13 May incident, and eleven days after the 1969 Malaysian general election, where his Alliance only won by a slim majority. It was the 4th cabinet of Malaysia formed since independence. This was the final government headed by Tunku Abdul Rahman, although in reality the government was suspended and de facto replaced by National Operations Council or MAGERAN on 15 May. Tunku Abdul Rahman resigned from his position a year later, succeeded by his deputy and the MAGERAN Director, Abdul Razak Hussein.
The 2018 Badminton Asia Team Championships was the second edition of Badminton Asia Team Championships, held at the Sultan Abdul Halim Stadium in Alor Setar, Malaysia, from 6 to 11 February 2018 and were organised by the Badminton Asia. This tournament also served as the Asian qualification for the 2018 Thomas & Uber Cup.
The 2020 Badminton Asia Team Championships was the third edition of Badminton Asia Team Championships, staged at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum in Manila, Philippines, from 11 to 16 February 2020. This championships was organized by the Badminton Asia with Philippine Badminton Association as host organiser and sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation. This tournament served as the Asian qualifiers for the 2020 Thomas & Uber Cup in Denmark. Competitors could also accumulate points as part of qualification process for 2020 Summer Olympics badminton tournament in Tokyo. Indonesia and Japan were the defending champions on men's and women's category respectively. They both successfully defended their title.
The 2022 Thomas & Uber Cup was the 32nd edition of the Thomas Cup and the 29th edition of the Uber Cup, the biennial international badminton championship contested by the men and women's national teams of the member associations of Badminton World Federation (BWF). The tournament was hosted at Bangkok, Thailand in the Impact Arena from 8 to 15 May 2022. This marks the third time Thailand has hosted the Thomas Cup, and second time for the Uber Cup.
The Laos national badminton team represents Laos in international badminton team competitions. It is managed by the Badminton Lao Federation. The Laotian team participated in the Southeast Asian Games and won three bronze medals in 1959 and 1961. The national team also competes in the Lao International, also known as the BEERLAO International Series.

It was scheduled from 28 February through 1 March 2020. Three international teams were initially scheduled to participate but cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. English College Johore Bahru won the tournament for the first time since the competition inception.
The teams event of the 2023 Badminton Asia Junior Championships is being held from 7–11 July 2023. Thailand was the champion of the last edition held in Suzhou, China in 2019 before COVID-19 pandemic.
The women's team badminton tournament at the 1965 SEAP Games was held from 15 to 16 December 1965 at the Selangor Badminton Association Hall, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The tournament was held along with the men's team event. There were only three teams present in the event, the teams were Thailand, Singapore and hosts Malaysia. Burma withdrew from the event.
The men's team tournament at the inaugural Asian Badminton Championships, also known as the Tunku Abdul Rahman Cup took place from 21 to 28 April 1962 at Stadium Negara in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The trophy is named after Tunku Abdul Rahman, the first prime minister of Malaysia. A total of 12 teams competed in this event.
