The 75th running of the Tour of Flanders cycling classic was held on Sunday, 7 April 1991. Edwig Van Hooydonck won the race, his second after 1989. The race was the second leg of the UCI Road World Cup. 102 of 194 riders finished. [1] [2]
A group of 24 riders, containing all favourites, were in front after the Molenberg. Edwig Van Hooydonck, Johan Museeuw, Rolf Sørensen ad Rolf Gölz broke away on Tenbosse in Brakel. Van Hooydonck tried to drop his companions on the Muur van Geraardsbergen, before really going solo on the Bosberg, the ultimate climb of the day, and powering on to the finish. Museeuw won the sprint for second place before Sørensen. Sørensen was the new leader in the World Cup.
The race started in Sint-Niklaas and finished in Meerbeke (Ninove) – totaling 261 km.

The Tour of Flanders, also known as De Ronde, is an annual road cycling race held in Belgium every spring. The most important cycling race in Flanders, it is part of the UCI World Tour and organized by Flanders Classics. Its nickname is Vlaanderens Mooiste. First held in 1913, the Tour of Flanders had its 100th edition in 2016.
The 59th running of the Tour of Flanders cycling race in Belgium was held on Sunday 6 April 1975. Belgian Eddy Merckx won the classic a second time. The race started in Ghent and finished in Meerbeke (Ninove).

Belgian rider René Martens claimed a surprise victory after breaking away solo on the Muur van Geraardsbergen. Eddy Planckaert won the sprint for second at 20 seconds, ahead of Rudy Pevenage. It was by and large Martens' biggest career victory. 51 of 212 riders finished.
The 67th running of the Tour of Flanders cycling classic was held on Sunday, 3 April 1983. Dutch rider Jan Raas claimed his second win in the monument race following a 20 km solo attack. His teammate Ludo Peeters won the sprint for second place at one-and-a-half minute. 38 of 188 riders finished.

Dutch rider Johan Lammerts won the monument race in his first attempt, following a late escape from a six-man group.
