1994 Singer World Series

The Singer World Series was a quadrangular ODI cricket tournament held in Sri Lanka from 4 to 17 September 1994. It featured the national cricket teams of Pakistan, Australia, India and the hosts, Sri Lanka. The competition was won by India, which defeated Sri Lanka in the final. [1]

The India cricket team toured Sri Lanka between 18 July and 2 September 2001. The two sides played a triangular ODI series also involving New Zealand, following which they played a three-match Test series. India's tour also included a one-day and a three-day fixture ahead of the ODI and Test series respectively.

The Indian cricket team toured Sri Lanka in August 1997, participating in two Test matches and three One Day International (ODI) matches. The 1997 Asia Cup, was the sixth Asia Cup tournament, and the second to be held in Sri Lanka. The tournament took place between July 14–26, 1997. Four teams took part in the tournament: India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

The Sri Lankan team toured India from 11 November to 27 December 2009, playing three Tests, five ODIs and two T20Is. The series was called the Jaypee cup.

The Tri-Series in Bangladesh in 2009–10 was a One Day International cricket tournament for the Idea Cup which was held in Bangladesh from 4 January to 13 January 2010. The tournament involved the national teams of India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The tournament was won by Sri Lanka who defeated India in the final match which was held on 13 January 2010.

The South Africa national cricket team toured India for a two-match Test series, and a three-match One Day International (ODI) series in February 2010.

In the 2011 Cricket World Cup, the knockout stage was the second and final stage of the World Cup, following the group stage. The top four teams from each group advanced to the knockout stage to compete in a single-elimination style tournament. A third place playoff match is not included in the tournament. The one-over eliminator was introduced into One Day International cricket at the 2011 Cricket World Cup knockout stage where a game ending in a tie would be decided via a one-over eliminator. With their victory over Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka became the first team to qualify for the Quarter-finals of the tournament.

The 1996 Singer Cup was a triangular cricket tournament held between 1 and 7 April 1996 in Singapore. The competition featured the national cricket teams of India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan. The tournament was won by Pakistan, which defeated Sri Lanka in the final on 7 April.

2012 Asia Cup Cricket tournament

The 2012 Asia Cup was an international cricket tournament held in Bangladesh from 11 to 22 March 2012. Like the previous event, the tournament featured the four Test-playing nations from Asia: Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. India entered the tournament as the defending 2010 Asia Cup Pakistan won the tournament by beating Bangladesh in the final by 2 runs.

The Titan Cup was a triangular One Day International cricket tournament held in India between 17 October and 6 November 1996 involving South Africa, Australia and India. Although South Africa had won all its round-robin matches, it lost in the final to India. The tournament was sponsored by and named after Titan Industries.

The 1997 Pepsi Independence Cup was a quadrangular ODI cricket tournament held in May 1997 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the independence of India. It featured the national cricket teams of New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and the hosts India. The tournament was won by Sri Lanka, which defeated Pakistan in the best-of-three finals.

The 2011–12 edition of the Commonwealth Bank Series was a One Day International cricket tournament which was held in Australia. It was a tri-nation series between Australia, India, and Sri Lanka. This was the first time Australia had hosted a tri-series since 2007–08.

1997–98 Coca-Cola Cup Cricket series

The Coca-Cola Cup was a tri-nation cricket tournament played in Sharjah in 1998. This was the first cricket tournament in Sharjah to be sponsored by Coca-Cola and was played under the aegis of the Cricketers Benefit Fund Series. The Round Robin format was followed with each team playing the other two teams twice each. All matches were day and night games and the tournament featured India, Australia and New Zealand cricket teams. This tournament was the first one in ten years which was held in Sharjah that Pakistan was not a part of. 24,000 spectators witnessed the final, a record turnout for a match at Sharjah Cricket Association Stadium, where all the matches were played.

2013 ICC Champions Trophy Cricket tournament

The 2013 ICC Champions Trophy was the seventh ICC Champions Trophy, a One Day International cricket tournament held in England and Wales between 6 and 23 June 2013. Three cities hosted the tournament's matches: London, Birmingham and Cardiff.

The Silver Jubilee Independence Cup was a One Day International cricket tournament held in Dhaka, Bangladesh during January 1998. The tournament was held as a celebration of 25 years of Bangladesh's independence and all the games were held at Bangabandhu National Stadium, Dhaka, Bangladesh.India, Pakistan and the hosts Bangladesh were the participating teams in the tournament.

The Sri Lanka national cricket team toured India during the 1997–98 cricket season, playing three Test matches and three One Day Internationals (ODIs). Both series were drawn; all three Tests were draws, and each side won one of the ODIs, tying the series 1–1. The other ODI, which was held on 25 December, was abandoned after three overs had been bowled, when after discussion between the two captains and the match referee, it was determined that the inconsistent bounce of the pitch was too dangerous for the players. This was the first occasion on which an international cricket match had been called off for this reason.

The 1999 Aiwa Cup was a triangular ODI cricket competition held in different venues across Sri Lanka from 22 to 31 August 1999. It featured the national cricket teams of India, Sri Lanka and Australia. The tournament was won by Sri Lanka, who defeated Australia in the final.
