Al-Wahda Sports Club is a Syrian multi-sports club based in Damascus. It is mostly known for its football and basketball teams. The football team plays in Syria's top competition, the Syrian Premier League. Al-Wahda SC was founded in 1928 and its colours are orange and white. They play their home games at the Al-Jalaa Stadium. The club is nicknamed The Damascene orange.

The 5th Edition of Arab Champions League 2007–08

The 1985–86 Asian Club Championship was the fifth edition of the annual Asian club football competition hosted by the Asian Football Confederation, and was the first such tournament in 14 years. Several clubs played in the qualifying round in the fall of 1985, with he final tournament being held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from 19 to 29 January 1986.

The 2006–07 Arab Champions League saw the 4th edition of Arab Champions League. 32 teams represented Arab nations from Africa and Asia. ES Sétif of Algeria won the final against Al-Faisaly SC of Jordan.

The 1985 Arab Club Champions Cup took place in Baghdad, Iraq and featured three teams. Al-Rasheed took the championship back to Iraq.

The 1987 Arab Club Champions Cup was played in Saudi Arabia for the second time. This time in the city of Riyadh after the successful hosting of the 1984 Arab Club Champions Cup in Dammam. Al-Rasheed won the championship for the 3rd time, defending their championship once again and proving to be one of the top teams in the region at the time.

The 1995 Arab Super Cup was an international club competition played by the winners and runners up of the Arab Club Champions Cup and Arab Cup Winners' Cup. It was the second edition of the tournament to be played, but was the official first edition. Al-Shabab of Riyadh were crowned champions, with Saudi Professional League rivals Al-Hilal once again coming runners up. Also represented were Al-Ittihad, also of Saudi Arabia and the city of Jeddah and Egyptian giants Al-Ahly of Cairo.

The 2000 Arab Super Cup was an international club competition played by the winners and runners up of the Arab Club Champions Cup and Arab Cup Winners' Cup. It was the seventh edition and was won by Al Shabab of Saudi Arabia.

The 1994 Arab Cup Winners' Cup was the fifth edition of the Arab Cup Winners' Cup held in Cairo, Egypt between 10 – 19 Mar 1995, one year after. The teams represented Arab nations from Africa and Asia. Al-Ahly of Egypt won the final against Al-Shabab of Saudi Arabia.

The 2001 Arab Club Champions Cup edition, called Prince Faisal bin Fahd Cup, was won by Qatari side Al Sadd SC, the hosts. It was the 17th tournament and was held from 28 November to 12 December 2001.

2002 Arab Unified Club Championship, known officially as the 2002 Prince Faisal bin Fahd Tournament for Arab Clubs, was the 18th UAFA Club Cup, and the 1st since the Arab Club Champions Cup and Arab Cup Winners' Cup were unified. The tournament was originally scheduled for 18 – 31 August 2002 in Morocco, hosted by MAS Fez. it was then postponed to 17 January – 2 February 2003, to be held in Fez and Casablanca, and finally moved to Jeddah.

The 2004–05 Arab Champions League was the second edition of a new format called Arab Champions League replacing the former Arab Unified Club Championship. The teams represented Arab nations from Africa and Asia. Al-Ittihad Jeddah of Saudi Arabia won the final against CS Sfaxien of Tunisia.

The 1999 Arab Cup Winners' Cup was the 10th edition of the Arab Cup Winners' Cup held in Kuwait City, Kuwait between 1 – 20 November 1999. The teams represented Arab nations from Africa and Asia. Al-Ittihad from Qatar won the final against Al-Jaish from Syria for the first time.

The 2000 Arab Cup Winners' Cup was the 11th edition of the Arab Cup Winners' Cup held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia between 8 – 22 November 2000. The teams represented Arab nations from Africa and Asia. Al-Hilal from Saudi Arabia won the final against Al-Nassr from the same country for the first time.
