The United States men's national soccer team, abbreviated (USMNT) represents the United States in men's international soccer competitions. The team is governed by the United States Soccer Federation, which is a member of FIFA since 1914 and was a founding member of CONCACAF since 1961. It was also affiliated with NAFC, which was a predecessor confederation of CONCACAF and the governing soccer body in North America from 1946 to 1961.
The Ukraine national football team represents Ukraine in men's international football, and is governed by the Ukrainian Association of Football, the governing body for football in Ukraine. Ukraine's home ground is the Olimpiyskiy Stadium in Kyiv. The team has been a full member of UEFA and FIFA since 1992.
The Jordan national football team represents Jordan in international football and is controlled by the Jordan Football Association. The 2002 FIFA World Cup was the 17th edition of the FIFA World Cup, an international association football competition that serves as the championship for men's national teams. It was held in Japan and South Korea from 31 May to 30 June and was contested by 32 teams. Each national association was required to name a provisional squad of 23 players, expanded from 22 in previous tournaments, by 21 May 2002.
The 1998 FIFA World Cup was the 16th FIFA World Cup, a quadrennial football tournament contested by the senior men's teams of the national associations affiliated to FIFA. The tournament was played in France from 10 June to 12 July 1998 and featured 32 teams divided into eight groups of four. Each team was required to submit a squad of 22 players – numbered sequentially from 1 to 22 – from whom they would select their teams for each match at the tournament, with the final squads to be submitted by 1 June 1998. In total, 704 players were selected for the tournament.
Pia Mariane Sundhage is a Swedish football manager and former professional player. Currently, she is coaching Switzerland. As a player, Sundhage played most of her career as a forward and retired as the top scorer for the Sweden national team.
Silvia Edith Maria Neid is a German former professional football player and manager. She is one of the most successful players in German women's football, having won seven national championships and six DFB-Pokal trophies. Between 2005 and 2016, Neid served as the head coach of the Germany women's national team. She was the FIFA World Women's Coach of the Year in 2010, 2013 and 2016.

The United States U-20 women's national soccer team is a youth soccer team operated under the auspices of U.S. Soccer. Its primary role is the development of players in preparation for the senior women's national team. The team most recently appeared in the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Colombia, where they placed third. The team competes in a variety of competitions, including the biennial FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup, which is the top competition for this age group.

Jorge Vilda Rodríguez is a Spanish football coach and UEFA Pro Licence holder, who is currently the head coach of the Morocco women's national team, since 12 October 2023. Previously, he was the head coach of the Spain women's national football team from 2015 to 2023, winning the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup. He was also sporting director of the Spanish FA's (RFEF) women's national-team system and tactical instructor at their National Coaching School for much of the same period. He was fired from all roles on 5 September 2023 for his part of the Rubiales affair.
