2006 French Open mixed doubles was an event at the 2006 French Open.
Elena Likhovtseva and Daniel Nestor won the mixed doubles title at the 2007 Australian Open tennis tournament, defeating Victoria Azarenka and Max Mirnyi in the final 6–4, 6–4.
Katarina Srebotnik and Bob Bryan were the defending champions, but Srebtonik did not compete in the Mixed Doubles tournament at this U.S. Open. Bryan partnered Vera Zvonareva, and successfully defended the title, defeating Alicia Molik and Todd Woodbridge in the final 6–3, 6–4.
Martina Hingis and Mahesh Bhupathi defeated Elena Likhovtseva and Daniel Nestor in the final, 6–3, 6–3 to win the mixed doubles tennis title at the 2006 Australian Open. With the win, Bhupathi completed the career Grand Slam in mixed doubles, becoming the 14th player to do so. It was Hingis' first major mixed doubles title; she would later also complete the career Grand Slam in the discipline.

By winning the title, Stubbs won her second Grand Slam title, after she won her first in Women's Doubles earlier in the week, and Palmer won his first major Mixed Doubles title. Mariaan de Swardt and David Adams were the defending champions, but De Swardt chose not to defend her title and Adams played with Kristie Boogert. Adams and Boogert lost to Sánchez Vicario and Woodbridge in the semifinals.

It was Navratilova's first Australian Open mixed doubles title and eighth mixed doubles title overall, and the first Australian Open and second mixed doubles title for Paes. With the win, Navratilova became the fourth woman in history to complete the career Grand Slam in mixed doubles, and became only the third player in history to complete the "Boxed Set".
