The 2002 V8Star Series season was the second V8Star Series season. It featured ten races at six European racing circuits, in Germany, Belgium and Austria. Venezuelan ex-Formula One and Grand Prix motorcycle racing driver Johnny Cecotto was crowned champion of the series for a second time, taking three wins in all and beating Austrian Robert Lechner to the title.

Team Penske is an American professional auto racing organization, competing in the NTT IndyCar Series, NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series. Richard Westbrook British racing driver

Richard Westbrook is a British professional racing driver noted for his success in racing Porsche and International sports cars. As a junior, he attended St Joseph's College, Ipswich. He has won both the Porsche Supercup international championship and the Porsche Carrera Cup in his native Britain (2004). At the end of the 2007 season, Richard signed a factory contract deal with the German marque Porsche, and the British ace proceeded to take on the world's best on the other side of the Atlantic. The 2001 V8Star Series season was the inaugural V8Star Series season. It featured nine races at five European racing circuits, in Germany and Austria. Venezuelan ex-Formula One and Grand Prix motorcycle racing driver Johnny Cecotto was crowned champion of the series, taking only the one win but beating Germans Marcel Tiemann and Roland Asch to the title.

The 2011 JK Racing Asia Series was the first season of the rebranded Formula BMW Pacific Series, which ran for seven seasons in Asia. The championship began on 9 April in Sepang and was scheduled to finish on 30 October in India after eighteen races held at six meetings. However, due to unexpected cancellations, the final meeting was held on 4 December in Sepang.

Markus Oestreich is a German racing driver currently competing in the TCR International Series. He previously competed in the British Touring Car Championship, World Touring Car Championship and Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft.

2021 NASCAR Cup Series 73rd season of NASCAR Cup Series racing

The 2021 NASCAR Cup Series is the 73rd season for NASCAR professional stock car racing in the United States and the 50th season for the modern era Cup Series. The season started at Daytona International Speedway with the Busch Clash, where it was the first year that the non-points event was run on the track's road course layout instead of the oval. That race was followed by the Bluegreen Vacations Duel qualifying races, and the 63rd running of the Daytona 500, the first points race of the season. The regular season will also end at Daytona with the Coke Zero Sugar 400 on August 28. The NASCAR playoffs will end with the Season Finale 500 at Phoenix Raceway on November 7.

2021 MotoGP World Championship 73rd running of the MotoGP World Championship

The 2021 FIM MotoGP World Championship is the premier class of the 73rd F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Joan Mir began the season as defending riders' champion.
