The 2003 Supersport World Championship was the seventh season of the Supersport World Championship. The season was held over 11 races following the Superbike World Championship calendar except a race at Laguna Seca. Beginning on 2 March at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Spain, and finished on 19 October at Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours in France. Chris Vermeulen won the title after beating closest rival Stéphane Chambon. [1]

The TT Circuit Assen is a motorsport race track built in 1955 and located in Assen, Netherlands. Host of the Dutch TT, it is popularly referred to as "The Cathedral of Speed" by motorcycle racing fans. Autodrom Most is a hard-surfaced 4.212 km (2.617 mi) long race track for motorsport outside of the city of Most in the northwest of the Czech Republic. The racing circuit was built between 1978 and 1983, but the Most district was known for organizing motorcycle and car races earlier. Autodrome is used for races of cars, trucks, motorcycles and free circuit rides, but also for test rides of developed cars, training of drivers of fire engines, ambulance and police cars, as well as training of drivers in crisis situations, etc.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Supersport World Championship</span> International motorcycle racing

The Supersport World Championship, abbreviated to WorldSSP, is a motorcycle racing competition on hard-surfaced circuits, based on mid-sized sports motorcycles. Competition machines were originally based on production-based motorcycles with 600 cc to 955 cc engines, depending on the number of cylinders. After trials in UK national series British Supersport, from 2022 the regulations have changed to allow eligibility of larger-displacement engines, to reflect the engine sizes being produced and encourage different manufacturers.

The 2008 Superbike World Championship was the twenty-first season of the Superbike World Championship. Corona Extra ceased to be the championship's title sponsor, as it had been since 1998. The electronics manufacturer HANNspree took over as the title sponsor in 2008 and this arrangement remained in place until 2010, with the championship officially known as the "HANNspree SBK Superbike World Championship".

Ten Kate Racing is a motorcycle racing team competing in World Supersport with 2023 rider Jorge Navarro and Stefano Manzi. They previously competed in the Superbike World Championship with 2019 rider Loris Baz, and previously with Gulf Althea Racing BMW Motorrad.

Jason Pridmore is a retired American professional motorcycle racer who turned professional in 1990. He last raced professionally in the 2014 FIM World Endurance Championship on a BMW S1000RR for Team Penz 13. His professional career spanned 22 years, during which he won 21 American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) national races 17 of which are Superstock class wins which is second to Scott Russell. Pridmore was the AMA Formula Extreme Championship in 2002, the AMA 750 Supersport Championship in 1997 as well as the FIM Endurance World Championship title in 2003 & 2012 respectively. In addition to his professional racing career Pridmore instructs motorcyclists through his STAR Motorcycle school and JP43 Training programs. The 2020 Supersport 300 World Championship was the fourth season of the Supersport 300 World Championship of motorcycle racing.

The 2021 MotoAmerica Superbike Championship season was the 45th season of the premier class of circuit-based motorcycle racing in the United States and the 7th since its renaming to MotoAmerica. Cameron Beaubier entered the season as the defending champion but did not defend his title after moving to the 2021 Moto2 World Championship.

The 2021 MotoAmerica Supersport Championship season was the 7th season of the supersport class of motorcycle racing within the MotoAmerica series. Richie Escalante entered the season as the defending champion, picking up his first MotoAmerica supersport title in 2020. However, the 9-round season concluded with Sean Dylan Kelly picking up his first MotoAmerica supersport title. This was enough to secure Kelly a move to Moto2 for 2022.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2022 Superbike World Championship</span> Modified motorcycle racing championship

The 2022 Superbike World Championship was the 35th season of the Superbike World Championship. The championship was won by Álvaro Bautista, who became World Champion in 2022 after finishing 2nd in Race 2 at the Mandalika round. There are 24 riders who compete in this event for the Mandalika race. Ducati won its 18th manufacturer title.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">FIM Women's Circuit Racing World Championship</span>

The FIM Women's Circuit Racing World Championship is a women-only racing series organized by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) and Dorna, the company that also organizes MotoGP and the Superbike World Championship.

The 2003 Superstock European Championship was the fifth season of the FIM Superstock championship. The FIM Superstock European Championship followed the same calendar as the Superbike World Championship, missing out the none European rounds of the championship. Starting on 2 March in Circuit Ricardo Tormo and ending on 19 October in Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours.
