The 2004 Rally Argentina (formally the 24th CTI Movil Rally Argentina) was the eighth round of the 2004 World Rally Championship. The race was held over four days between 15 and 18 July 2004, and was based in Villa Carlos Paz, Argentina. Citroen's Carlos Sainz won the race, his 26th and final win in the World Rally Championship. [1] [2]

Carlos Sainz Sr. Spanish racing driver

Carlos Sainz Cenamor is a Spanish rally driver. He won the World Rally Championship drivers' title with Toyota in 1990 and 1992, and finished runner-up four times. Constructors' world champions to have benefited from Sainz are Subaru (1995), Toyota (1999) and Citroën. In the 2018 season he was one of the official drivers of the Team Peugeot Total. Juha Kankkunen Finnish former rally driver

Juha Matti Pellervo Kankkunen is a Finnish former rally driver. His factory team career in the World Rally Championship lasted from 1983 to 2002. He won 23 world rallies and four drivers' world championship titles, which were both once records in the series. Both Sébastien Loeb and Sébastien Ogier have since collected more world titles, but no driver was able to repeat Kankkunen's feat of becoming a world champion with three different manufacturers until Ogier matched this achievement in 2020.

Sébastien Loeb is a French professional rally, racing and rallycross driver. He is the most successful driver in the World Rally Championship (WRC), having won the world championship a record nine times in a row. José María López Argentine race car driver (born 1983)

José María "Pechito" López is an Argentine race car driver who is currently competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship with Toyota Gazoo Racing and 2014–2016 World Touring Car Champion. He raced in the 2006 GP2 Series for the Super Nova team, and previously for the DAMS team, and the CMS team in Formula 3000. He was also at Renault F1 as a test driver. He was supposed to make his Formula One debut in 2010 for US F1 Team but the team shut down before contesting a single race. On 16 December 2013 he joined the Citroën Total WTCC team for the 2014 World Touring Car Championship season. He won 10 races that year and clinched his first World Touring Car Championship. In 2015 he repeated the feat, again winning 10 races and the championship. In 2016, he again retained the title with eight wins.

Ford Escort WRC is a rally vehicle based on the Ford Escort RS Cosworth with World Rally Car homologation. It was built by M-Sport to compete in the World Rally Championship for the Ford World Rally Team. Nasser Salih Nasser Abdullah Al-Attiyah is a Qatari rally driver and sport shooter. He was the 2006 Production World Rally Champion, 2014 and 2015 WRC-2 champion, a 16 time Middle East Rally Champion, five times winner of the FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Rallies, and a quadruple Dakar Rally winner. His four victories in the Dakar Rally make him the only Middle Easterner and West Asian to win the competition more than once.

2010 Rally Argentina

The 2010 Rally Argentina was the 30th running of Rally Argentina and the third round of the 2010 Intercontinental Rally Challenge season. The rally consisted of 15 special stages and took place over 19–21 March 2010. The rally was also a round of the South American Rally Championship and the Argentine Rally Championship.

The 2014 Dakar Rally was the 36th running of the event and the sixth successive year that the event was held in South America. The event started in Rosario, Argentina on January 5 and finished in Valparaíso, Chile on January 18 after 13 stages of competition. Marc Coma won his fourth title in the motorcycle category riding a KTM; Ignacio Casale took his maiden title in the quad category on a Yamaha; Nani Roma clinched victory in the car category for the first time, ten years after his sole motorcycle title, driving a Mini; and Andrey Karginov took his first truck category title for Kamaz.

The 2004 Rally Australia was the sixteenth and final round of the 2004 World Rally Championship. The race was held over four days between 11 November and 14 November 2004, and was based in Perth, Australia. Citroën's Sébastien Loeb won the race, his 10th win in the World Rally Championship.

The 2004 Wales Rally GB was a rallying autosports race held over four days between 16 and 19 September 2004 and operated out of Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom. It was the twelfth round of the 2004 World Rally Championship (WRC) and the 60th running of the event. Contested over 19 stages, the rally was won by Subaru World Rally Team driver Petter Solberg. Sébastien Loeb finished second for the Citroën World Rally Team and Ford driver Markko Märtin came in third.

2018 Dakar Rally

The 2018 Dakar Rally was the 40th edition of the event and the tenth successive year that the event was in South America. The event started in Lima, Peru on 6 January and ran through Argentina and Bolivia, finishing in Córdoba, Argentina on 20 January after 14 stages of competition.

The 2003 Rally of Turkey was the third round of the 2003 World Rally Championship. The race was held over four days between 27 February and 2 March 2003, and was based in Kemer, Turkey. Citroen's Carlos Sainz won the race, his 25th win in the World Rally Championship.

The 2003 Rally Argentina was the fifth round of the 2003 World Rally Championship. The race was held over four days between 8 May and 11 May 2003, and was based in Villa Carlos Paz, Argentina. Peugeot's Marcus Grönholm won the race, his 15th win in the World Rally Championship.

The 2002 Rally Argentina was the sixth round of the 2002 World Rally Championship. The race was held over three days between 17 May and 19 May 2002, and was won by Ford's Carlos Sainz, his 24th win in the World Rally Championship, after the disqualification of Peugeot drivers Marcus Grönholm and Richard Burns for illegal help and underweight flywheel respectively.
