The 2006 European U23 Judo Championships is an edition of the European U23 Judo Championships, organised by the International Judo Federation. It was held in Moscow, Russia from 25 to 25 November 2006. [1] [2]

As of March 2018 he was ranked #9 in the world in the U73 kg division. Butbul was a member of the Israeli team that won a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics.
