Barna Bor (born 12 December 1986) is a Hungarian retired judoka. He competed at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics. [1] At the 2008 Summer Olympics, he lost in the last 32 to Islam El Shehaby. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he beat Luuk Verbij in the first round, then El Mehdi Malki in the second round, before losing to Andreas Tölzer in the quarterfinal. [2] In the repechage, he lost to Rafael Silva in the first round. [2]

Jaromír Ježek is a Czech judoka. He has competed at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics. At the 2008 Summer Olympics, he lost in the first round to Shokir Muminov. He went one round better at the 2012 Summer Olympics, where he beat Aleni Smith in his first match, before losing to Wang Ki-Chun in the next.

Emmanuel "Emma" Lucenti is a judoka from Argentina. He competed at the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics in the men's half-middleweight (‍–‍81 kg). At the 2008 Summer Olympics, he lost in second round to Euan Burton. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he reached the quarter-finals, where he lost to Kim Jae-bum. As Kim continued on to the gold medal match, Lucenti took part in the bronze medal repechage, where he lost in the first round to Antoine Valois-Fortier. At the 2016 Summer Olympics, Lucenti was once again eliminated by Valois-Fortier, this time in the third round.

Egypt competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, from 27 July to 12 August 2012, sending one of its largest delegations ever. A total of 110 Egyptian athletes participated in 83 events across 20 sports, with more women taking part than ever before. The nation's flagbearer in the opening ceremonies was Hesham Mesbah, a judoka who was Egypt's only medalist at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Egypt won two medals during the course of the Games: Alaaeldin Abouelkassem earned silver in the men's foil, becoming the first competitor from an African nation to win a fencing medal, while Karam Gaber captured silver in the men's 84 kg Greco-Roman wrestling event. Two Egyptian weightlifters were awarded medals retroactively, after higher-ranked competitors were disqualified for doping: Abeer Abdelrahman took silver in the women's 75 kg event, while Tarek Yehia, received bronze in the men's 85 kg event. Among other achievements, Mostafa Mansour was the nation's first competitor in sprint canoeing while fencer Shaimaa El-Gammal became the first Egyptian female to appear in four editions of the Olympics.

Ana Carrascosa Zaragoza is a Spanish judoka who competes in the women's 52 kg category. Carrascosa has twice been a bronze medalist at the World Judo Championships. At European level, Carrascosa has won the European Championships once (2008), came second twice and won one bronze medal (2011). At the 2008 Summer Olympics, Carrascosa reached the third round where she lost to the eventual champion Xian Dongmei. She then lost to Kim Kyung-ok in the bronze medal match in the repechage. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she was defeated in the first round by Marie Muller of Luxembourg.

Hedvig Karakas is a Hungarian judoka. She is a World Championship bronze medalist, and multi-time European medalist. She competed in the women's 57 kg event at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics. She also competed in the women's 57 kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan.
