The 2007 Swedish Touring Car Championship season was the 12th Swedish Touring Car Championship (STCC) season. The championship was won by Fredrik Ekblom, becoming the first ever three-times STCC champion.

Rickard Rydell Swedish racecar driver

Rickard Rydell is a retired Swedish racing driver. He won the 1998 British Touring Car Championship, the 2011 Scandinavian Touring Car Championship, and has also been a frontrunner in the European/World Touring Car Championship.

Swedish Touring Car Championship (STCC) was a touring car racing series based in Sweden, but also with rounds in Norway. They began operating in 1996, heavily influenced by the British Touring Car Championship and the success of BTCC racing on Swedish television. There are also a number of support classes that compete with their races alongside STCC; Radical, the Camaro Cup, Superkart, Pro Superbike, the JTCC and the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia. The final STCC season was in 2010, as the series merged with the Danish Touringcar Championship to form the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship.

Jan "Flash" Nilsson is a Swedish former active race car driver. He is most famous for his appearance in the Swedish Touring Car Championship, having driven full season in 15 seasons and for being the third most victorious driver.

The 2001 Swedish Touring Car Championship season was the 6th Swedish Touring Car Championship (STCC) season. In total ten racing weekends at six different circuits were held; each round comprising two races, making a twenty-round competition in total.

Robert Dahlgren is a Swedish auto racing driver who currently competes for the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship. He previously competed in Australia and New Zealand for a single season in the V8 Supercars Championship for Garry Rogers Motorsport, as well as in the World and for Polestar Racing, making him the longest-serving factory-supported Volvo driver.

Carl "Calle" Rosenblad is a Swedish auto racing driver. He is married with two children.

Tomas Engström is a Swedish auto racing driver. He is married with four children. In the 1990s he dominated the Swedish Camaro Cup, winning five back-to-back titles between 1994 and 1998. Since then he has mainly competed in touring cars, driving in the Swedish Touring Car Championship since 1999, when he entered an independent Chrysler Stratus. After this he managed and drove for the Honda Racing Team in a Honda Accord, with his best season for the team coming in 2003, when he finished third overall. Also in 2003, he competed in four rounds of the European Touring Car Championship. In 2007, he was runner up in the S2000 Class of the European Touring Car Cup.

2010 Swedish Touring Car Championship sports season

The 2010 Swedish Touring Car Championship season was the 15th and last Swedish Touring Car Championship (STCC) season. Four of the race weekends were held together with the Danish Touring Car Championship and the results from these races also counted towards the Scandinavian Touring Car Cup. From 2011, the new Scandinavian Touring Car Championship replaced both the Swedish and the Danish Touring Car Championships.

The Scandinavian Touring Car Championship (STCC) was a touring car racing series based in Scandinavia. The series took over from the Danish Touringcar Championship and Swedish Touring Car Championship, with its first season in 2011. It is the first year of TTA – Racing Elite League silhouette regulations in the series following the merge of the STCC and TTA at the end of the 2012 seasons. Fredrik Ekblom goes into the championship as reigning champion.

Cyan Racing

Cyan Racing is the official motorsport partner to Geely Group Motorsport, formerly the Volvo factory auto racing team, and runs the FIA WTCR programme for Lynk & Co, based in Gothenburg, Sweden. The team’s current drivers are Thed Björk, Yvan Muller, Yann Ehrlacher and Andy Priaulx who will drive the Lynk & Co 03 TCR race car.

The 2017 TCR Scandinavia Touring Car Championship was the seventh Scandinavian Touring Car Championship season. This season will see the introduction of the TCR regulations. The season started at Ring Knutstorp on 7 May and ended at Mantorp Park on 17 September, after eight rounds.

The 2018 TCR Scandinavia Touring Car Championship was the eighth and final Scandinavian Touring Car Championship season. This season was the second season since the introduction of the TCR regulations and the last under the promotion of STCC AB, which declared bankruptcy in early February 2019. The season started at Ring Knutstorp on 4 May and ended at Mantorp Park on 22 September, after six rounds.

2019 TCR Scandinavia Touring Car Championship

The 2019 TCR Scandinavia Touring Car Championship was the ninth overall season of the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship season, the fourth under the internationally recognised TCR formula, and the first with its new promoter. The season started at Ring Knutstorp on 4 May and ended at Mantorp Park on 5 October, after six rounds across Sweden.

2020 STCC TCR Scandinavia Touring Car Championship

The 2020 STCC TCR Scandinavia Touring Car Championship is a planned regional motor racing championship for TCR touring cars which would be the fourth year of running with TCR regulations. It'll be the third time the championship has run under the STCC TCR Scandinavia Touring Car Championship banner. The season was due to start on 15 May at Ring Knutstorp and end on 4 October at Mantorp Park, however a revised calendar due to the 2019-2020 coronavirus pandemic is due to be published after Easter.
