The 2021 STCC TCR Scandinavia Touring Car Championship was the eleventh overall season of the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship and the fifth under the internationally recognised TCR formula. It is also the fourth time the championship is run under the STCC TCR Scandinavia Touring Car Championship banner. [1] The season started on 4 June at Ljungbyheds Motorbana and ended on 9 October at Ring Knutstorp after six rounds.

This season was the second season since the introduction of the TCR regulations and the last under the promotion of STCC AB, which declared bankruptcy in early February 2019. The season started at Ring Knutstorp on 4 May and ended at Mantorp Park on 22 September, after six rounds.

A TCR Touring Car is a touring car specification, first introduced in 2014 and is now employed by a multitude of series worldwide. All TCR Touring Cars are front-wheel drive cars based on 4 or 5 door production vehicles, and are powered by 1.75 to 2.0 litre turbocharged engines. While the bodyshell and suspension layout of the production vehicle is retained in a TCR car, and many models use a production gearbox, certain accommodations are made for the stresses of the racetrack including upgraded brakes and aerodynamics. Competition vehicles are subject to balance of performance (BoP) adjustments to ensure close racing between different vehicles.

The season started at Ring Knutstorp on 4 May and ended at Mantorp Park on 5 October, after six rounds across Sweden.

The 2019 World Touring Car Cup was the second season of the World Touring Car Cup and 15th overall of World Touring Cars promoted by Discovery Sports Events, which dates back to the 2005 World Touring Car Championship.

Daniel Haglöf is Swedish auto racing driver who currently competes in the World Touring Car Cup and is co-founder of PWR Racing. He previously competed mainly in his native Sweden including the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship and Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia.

The 2020 STCC TCR Scandinavia Touring Car Championship was the tenth overall season of the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship and the fourth under the internationally recognised TCR formula. It was also the third time the championship has run under the STCC TCR Scandinavia Touring Car Championship banner. Originally due to start on 15 May at Ring Knutstorp and end on 4 October at Mantorp Park, the season start was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A revised calendar was due to be published sometime after Easter.

The 2020 TCR Denmark Touring Car Series is the inaugural season of the TCR Denmark Touring Car Series. The season started on the 18/19 April at Jyllandsringen and will end on the 10/11 October at Padborg Park.

The 2020 World Touring Car Cup was the third season of the World Touring Car Cup and 16th overall of the series, which dates back to the 2005 World Touring Car Championship.

The 2021 World Touring Car Cup was the fourth season of the World Touring Car Cup and 17th overall of the series, which dates back to the 2005 World Touring Car Championship. The season began on 5 June at the Nürburgring and ended on 28 November in Sochi.

The 2019 Formula Nordic season was the seventh season of the single-seater championship, and the first without the STCC branding following the series' promoter's bankruptcy. Instead, the series formed its own association, relaunching under the Formula Nordic brand but continuing to use the previous Formula Renault 1.6 chassis and engines, as it used to go under the name of Formula Renault 1.6 Nordic before Renault Sport dropped its support for the 3.5 and 1.6 classes in late 2015. The season began on 3 May at Ring Knutstorp and concluded on 5 October at Mantorp Park after eight rounds, Edward Sander Woldseth took the main (NEZ) title, with Viktor Andersson winning the junior (JSM) crown.

The 2020 Formula Nordic season was the eighth season of the single-seater championship, and the second independent of the STCC branding, following the formation of the series' own association in the wake of the STCC promoter's bankruptcy in 2018. Formula Nordic continued to use the previous Formula Renault 1.6 chassis and engines, as it used to go under the name of Formula Renault 1.6 Nordic before Renault Sport dropped its support for the 3.5 and 1.6 classes in late 2015. The season began on 19 July at Falkenbergs Motorbana and concluded on 10 October at Ring Knutstorp after six rounds, with Joel Granfors taking both Nordic Cup and JSM titles.

Jessica Bäckman is a Swedish racing driver currently competing in the GT4 European Series for racing one. She is the sister of fellow racing driver Andreas Bäckman. Jessica Bäckman has previously raced in World Touring Car Cup where she was the first women to achieve World Cup points in the series, and she was recently crowned the Vice Champion title in ADAC TCR Germany.

The 2022 STCC TCR Scandinavia Touring Car Championship season is the thirteenth season of the championship, the sixth after the adoption of the TCR specification. It started on 4 June 2022 at Ljungbyheds Motorbana and finished on 1 October 2022 at Mantorp Park. Robert Dahlgren, in the CUPRA Leon Competición TCR, took his fourth drivers' title in his career, while his team, CUPRA Dealer Team - PWR Racing, took the team title. Axel Bengtsson, also in a CUPRA Leon Competición TCR, took the junior drivers' title, while Marius Solberg Hansen, in a Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR, took the Däckteam trophy.
