The 2021 TCR Australia Series (known for sponsorship reasons as the 2021 Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series [1] ) was an Australian motor racing competition for TCR Touring Cars. It was the second TCR Australia Touring Car Series. [2] The series was sanctioned by Motorsport Australia as a National Series with the Australian Racing Group Pty Ltd appointed as the Category Manager. [1] It was contested as part of the renamed Motorsport Australia Championships series.

Whincup is the all-time record holder in the Supercars Championship for race wins, at 125 career wins.     Garry Rogers Motorsport is an Australian motor racing team. It is owned by retired racing driver Garry Rogers who began the team to further his own racing efforts. Based in Melbourne, originally out of a Nissan dealership owned by Rogers, the team has competed in a variety of touring car series in Australia ranging from relatively modest Nissan production cars to Chevrolet NASCAR race cars to building the GT specification Holden Monaro 427C. The team won the Bathurst 1000 in 2000 and also won both of the Bathurst 24 Hour races which were held in 2002 and 2003. In 2013 the team celebrated its 50th year in racing since Rogers made his debut.

    The 2020 Bathurst 1000 was a motor racing event for Supercars that was held on the weekend of 15–18 October 2020. It was held at the Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia and featured a single 1000 kilometre race. The event was the final race of the 2020 Supercars Championship and the final time Supercheap Auto was the naming rights sponsor, having been so since 2005, as United States-based Genuine Parts Company has acquired naming rights for both the Supercars Championship and the Bathurst 1000 starting in 2021. This was the first Bathurst 1000 in history to run with a limited crowd capacity, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

    The 2021 Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia Powered by AWS was an Australian motor sport competition for GT cars. The series incorporated the "Motorsport Australia GT Championship", the "Motorsport Australia Endurance Championship", the "GT3 Trophy Series" and the "GT4 Cup", however the Endurance Championship could not be contested due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Motorsport Australia GT Championship was the 25th running of an Australian GT Championship. This was the first season of the championship being jointly managed by Australian Racing Group (ARG) and SRO Motorsports Group.

    The 2022 TCR Australia Series was the third season of the TCR Australia Touring Car Series. The series ran as part of the Motorsport Australia Championships series.

    The 2023 TCR Australia Series was the fourth season of the TCR Australia Touring Car Series. The series ran as part of SpeedSeries and featured two rounds as part of TCR World Tour.

    The 2024 TCR Australia Series will be the fifth season of the TCR Australia Touring Car Series. The series will run as part of the Australian Racing Group's SpeedSeries. Initially, the rounds at Sydney Motorsport Park and Mount Panorama Circuit were scheduled to be part of the TCR World Tour, but the rounds were removed from that championship due to logistics issues for teams transporting cars in to the country.

    The 2024 Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia Powered by AWS is an Australian motor sport competition for GT cars. The series incorporates the "Motorsport Australia GT Championship", the "Motorsport Australia Endurance Championship" and the "GT3 Trophy Series". The Motorsport Australia GT Championship is the 28th running of an Australian GT Championship. This will be the first season of the championship being solely managed by the SRO Motorsports Group. The season will begin on 18 February at the Bathurst 12 Hour at Mount Panorama Circuit and end on 10 November, also at Mount Panorama Circuit.
